I think the site looks really good. From here, there are 2 ads from www bing . com showing in the adsense ads.
Interesting.
My only idea might be to try giving the adsense ads a lighter background, maybe cream or beige, and make the link text blue - just because the higher contrast might encourage the visitors to read the ads. Best of luck.

I would try putting Google ads at the top of your text pages. The sidebar ads are good but you may do better with some additional ad links at the very top of your articles. It should not be too distracting but I wouldn't put any more.

"Beautiful" site. Fonts (and pictures) look good to me.

Travel Odessa.

Sidebar ads just dont attract too many clicks IMHO, and as per my experience. The best one would be as someone suggested earlier, banner ads placed at the top of the page just under the links or header image..

Oh and I'll suggest using not sooo harsh colors for adsense, more like they should gel well with your theme

I also think that header image is WAY too big for a normal minisite. Covers half of your screen. Just my two bits bud.

Good luck!

Are you sure it is CJ's fault?
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=502144

It seems that 50% of the US earnings generated by Affiliate Networks come from CJ.

Even in my humble experience, it has been nice (for instance, I can't imagine why in heavens someone buys GoDaddy hosting services -the worst IMO- but they certainly do!)

CJ makes a good-sized deposit in my account every month and has been doing so for several years now.

Since your visitors need to do more than just click for you to earn commission, you can't treat affiliate programs like parking or Adsense and expect to do well. If you get active in the sales process, you'll have much better results.

That's right.

My sort of workflow is:
1) Study the advertisers in the niche I'm going to attack
2) Join the AP
3) Analyze the creatives of the few ones joined.
4) Promote them. If the programs allows you to create PPC campaings, do it.

In the same vein, if you have a well known visitors base in a website, your chances to make good money out of PPA and PPL campaing are huge.

Just my 2 cents.

EDIT: BTW, by Analyze I mean to study their Seven day EPC and 3 MOnth EPC as well... Lower in my requirements are the Network ranking because I've found a few new advertisers that coverts relative good (and for the spanish spoken affiliates: Spain advertisers are joining almost every day or so.. Way to go!)...

I think I very well knew what affiliate program means, but NOT EVEN A SINGLE CONVERSION out of 500+ clicks just from one site in last ten odd days.. that's lil' weird!!

I'm still plugging along and creating as many sites as time allows. I've realized that outsourcing is the way to go if you have the funds available. I'll be trying Estibot's service as well as a few others in the coming weeks.

If you have 10 or more closely related domains that you'd like to have developed, I'd suggest the service below. I ordered 15 of them last week.

I can't say anything about the other merchants, but there are long-standing, known issues with Hostgator and CJ, one of them being that a cookie from an affiliate in their in-house program will supercede the CJ cookie. Shouldn't, but it does. Try switching to their in-house affiliate program. Yes, the commission is lower, but if it's that or lose sales because they don't track ...
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=502144

Have you checked the affiliate forums? Are there any known tracking issues with the other merchants?

Those numbers aren't that alarming to me - sometimes things just don't convert, for any number of reasons.

Is this organic traffic or paid traffic? If paid, your ad/keywords may be attracting lookers instead of buyers. Same with organic traffic. What kind of searches are hitting your site? Where are your visitors in the purchase cycle? I'd assume that with hosting most people spend a lot of time investigating and evaluating different options before actually choosing one - that would definitely lower the conversion ratio.

As I said earlier, CJ has been working out very well for me... no complaints, but then the hosting niche isn't one I actively promote.

Hi Federer,

Very nice work on your sites. They all have very clean layouts and look professionally put together. I would only suggest working with your Ads to help blend them into your site feel/theme. They seem a bit in your face, which can be good depending on the topic, but can also really turn people off. Also, make sure you place "call-to-action" ads at the end of articles. If you are writing engaging content people will want you to tell them what to do next. So give them what they want...direction.

How do you put together your sites? Are you developing them yourself or are your working with a designer/developer?

Nice work!
Markus

SecuritySigns.net - Commercial Security Signs | Home Security Signs | Office Security Signs is now up-and-running... will be putting up a few banner ads to fill in some of those spaces

2 more sites will be up in a few days

www.Cameos.net has rocketed up to page 2, got a few clicks today. Should be on page 1 in a week or 2.
