Help To Automate Your Twitter Marketing

1) You can use this tool, http://twollow.com/ , to automatically follow anyone who posts about your chosen keywords.

2) You can use this tool, http://socialtoo.com/ , to automatically follow new people who follow you, and unfollow people that don't.

@Dave in Carthage That sweetcron script you posted is excellent, although I can see why you had trouble making it work in a sub-folder. Takes a bit of tech knowledge to make it all work nicely like in the demo site too.

sometimes qwitter.com don't work like it suppose to so im also using http://friendorfollow.com/ just run once a day since it's cached.
you'll know the people that stopped following you then you decide if you still wanna follow or not.

Has anyone had experience of using #hastags yet? My experimental Twitter thingybob has been marking posts with domains for sale with #dnsales.

You can follow all the hashtags here. The site is sometimes slow and funky, but it works most of the time

You can also search for hashtags at search.twitter.com. For example: http://search.twitter.com/search?q=%23dnsales

BTW, if you guys are looking for a great Twitter client to use, I recommend Twhirl (http://twhirl.org/). Its a nice desktop client that runs on Adobe Air. It also works with other services like Friendfeed and Identi.ca.

Aye, I've also found tweme.com-- you can get a widget to put on your own site, so if you have a site about horses, you can have the widget display all the #horse tweets on your site.

Awesome program Dave recommended to me for following tweets. Makes it easy to keep a small window up on the side on my monitor to keep in touch with all. http://www.tweetdeck.com

for twitter automation
you can use twollow.com and socialtoo.com
twollow.com you can specify keywords to follow
for example, if someone says "domain" or "domains" you select autofollow on twollow.com and it will follow that person on twitter.
also on socialtoo.com you can auto greet via dm or via public timeline.
auto follow and auto unfollow too. aside from the social surveys im making every time you make a survey it will be retweeted (republish) on @socialtoo profile which has a good following.

hey i know it was mentioned but i can't find a specific tool. when i make a blog post i want twitter to be updated automatically, what is the widget called?

use twitterfeed.com
your blog needs to have a feed or .xml of course it have one.
choose to autopost as often as every 30 minutes to 24 hours.

it won't work for me

giving me error msg:
We couldn't find valid date/time stamps or GUIDs on items. Please make sure your feed contains valid pubDate entries or GUIDs for each post

this is the only feed i know of http://www.dnkitchen.com/feed/rss. i'm going to bed now, will mess with it more tomorrow.
