....MOBIREG if you don't complete this auction commitment - don't expect to do any further business with members here.

.
Did he PM you with a higher BIN price than the $1050? I recall
it was a sellers choice auction. Just curious because he said
he sent you a PM.

No, keith...He's given me no alternatives...His one original PM to me simply confirmed my win at $1050, and offered me several options about how to pay...I chose PayPal from the options he gave me - then he never sent his PayPal details....And I haven't heard from him.

I've been chasing him ever since...

labrocca....$1000 deal....You're right...It should be escrow.

sorry to see this Chris

heads up, he sent me this pm other day, i guess as he saw my post saying was a steal:
--------------------------------------

"Hi,

I'm about 16 LLL.mobi domains.
Maybe you are interested in quickly transaction? If so - I can sell them to you if DomainTalker will not answer to my PM or we will not negotiate all questions about this Auction."

-----------------------------------------

nb: i have never published a pm before as they should be private but this was obviously underhand.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=498276
i replied back that he shouldn't have sent me that and you were a stand up guy and you have a deal and you would be in touch with him.

thought was end of it as his english is so bad i wasn't sure if i had interpreted him wrong.
after reading last few posts, looks like he's done dirty and walked mate.

i think RJ needs to arrive with banstick imho, or hopefully seller will see sense before too late

good luck

Thanks for that, lads....

I think, in this case, its perfectly fair to disclose the fact he approached you blokes about the 16 domains, he'd auctioned....Although he did mention 'if' I didn't reply within the time he set (in his post in this thread)....As you can see I complied with a reply well within the 24 hrs he set...
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=498276

If he approached you guys, then he probably approached others.....He did mention that he'd had a higher offer in his post above...

I hate to say this, but perhaps another member here actually dealt with him - despite the auction - paid a bit more, and MOBIREG sold them...?....But, then, he should have talked to me about it, I think.

...And, if it was a fellow member here...well...that's not nice, fella...!!

Anyway, its sharp & poor practice, imo....And, this was an NP auction - amongst members....People shouldn't get away with this stuff....and I'm sure they won't.

if someone has gone underhand, rj or mods will be able to go into his account and see who via messages. no room for this sort of thing.

Sellers choice auctions allow someone to pay their way out of completing a deal -- the fee is $8 to do this.

What's wrong here isn't that he backed out but the method in which he backed out... He made you think you still had a deal going on when he clearly had no interest in selling to you anymore (claiming to have higher offers and all...)

Send me a pm if you want this investigated by Namepros management.

Answer received. DomainTalker said, that he wants to pay using Escrow.com services and I have to pay 50% of escrow fees... I think, it's very bad practise, in his first message he said, that he will pay using PayPal services.

My answer is:
$1050 using PayPal today or $1575 (50% more) using Escrow.com services (100% fees will pay buyer). I have to receive answer today, in other way I have to cancel the deal.

MOBIREG,

Escrow.com charges a maximum of 6% for escrow service. When DomainTalker speaks of 50%, he's referring to 50% of this 6% escrow fee. So all he's really asking you to pay is 3% -- on this sale it would cost you about $35 if this was done through escrow.

I agree with you that DomainTalker should pay this fee if he's the one who wants to use escrow. I'm sure if you tell DomainTalker that he has to pay the escrow fee that he'll agree to it -- just ask

This has turned into a complete circus...!!

MOBIREG...

...It does seem you misunderstood what I said in my PM to you of yesterday.

I said in my PM:

"...I'll only pay you by using escrow.com - and, we'll share the FEES 50/50...."...And those fees would be as Reece said above.

I have to say you've acted very erratically from the very beginning of this transaction....And, frankly, I have lost confidence in the way you do things.

...I don't know you, MOBIREG....You have NO history of buying/selling domains here at NamePros.....You disappear, and don't reply, or progress, the transaction for days and days...You try to sell the names I won at your auction to others at a higher price....Then you come back and just expect to carry on, as if nothing has happened...!!
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=498276

Well...Payment by PayPal requires trust....Initially, I was prepared to give you the benefit of the doubt, and send you the funds by PayPal - and trust that you would transfer the domains to me. But not now.

Frankly, after this behaviour of yours, I cannot be certain that if I send you money, you will transfer the names.

So...the only way I'll do business with you is by escrow.com. I need the security of using escrow.com to contemplate paying you the $1050 - and, after all this nonsense, you can damn well share the escrow.com FEES on the transaction 50/50 - and count yourself fortunate, in the circumstances, I am even contemplating that.

If this is not satisfactory to you - or, if you do not cooperate throughout the transfer process - then I shall consider that enough is enough - and, the deal will be off. Finally.

Let me know your answer promptly, please.

.

suggestion:

everyone knows dt is a stand up guy
mobireg has 0 feedback and for a deal like this with a noob i would suggest they push the names first. you're a respected member and u aint gonna do a chargeback or whatever, so that would be what i say.
its for new members to prove themselves.

so in short, mobireg get in touch, try and be clear with your comms, push the names to dt, and he will pay you via paypal.

I've had no word - either posted here, or by PM - from MOBIEREG.

Enough is enough.

Mods....I have to conclude that MOBIEREG has reneged on the deal. With regret, I'm declaring that - in all the circumstances - I consider that I have no further obligation in regard to this NP auction transaction.

If anyone else intends to do business with this bloke, I recommend you proceed with extreme caution.

yes, a circus indeed. Funny/sad to watch. In case you haven't read it DT, the TOS at escrow.com clearly says you as buyer are responsible for the fees even if the deal is canceled so keep in mind you've got a minor risk this way also.

Yes, that's right, Scandi...

The buyer's responsible for the fees IF the escrow.com transaction had been initiated, and then canceled before completion.

In this case, the escrow process hadn't even been initiated, 'cos the seller never got back to me agreeing to use escrow.

As a side note: Of course, both buyer & seller have the option to share fees 50/50 in an escrow transaction - if they both agree - and, provided the escrow transaction is completed.

Yes, it'c comlete circus, DomainTalker! But from your side.

Okey! I will give you one more possibility.
Final price is $1050, I can transfer domains to your account firstly and after transfer you will have to make payment in 24 hours by PayPal or MoneyBookers. I can do this, because my time costs more then $1050 and I have to stop this "one side discussion" with you.

P.S. My last offer will expire after 24 hours and I will have to sell domains to another NamePros user.
