Please hold off on posting your .ME names for appraisal in their own thread.
1. Registrations just opened today with thousands of new registrations. Let's not overwhelm the forum.
2. There is still some confusion about names not having actually been registered (particularly with GoDaddy) by people who think they have them. (Check with the WHOIS at www.nic.me to see if you got it for real.)
3. They are impossible to appraise anyway with a market not yet having been established for them.
In the meantime, showcase your new .ME names over here:
RJ please add .asia as well - far too early for any real evaluation of their worth. So far both are all hype and wishful thinking with little market value for the obvious reasons.
so help me understand, because they are new domains it is impossible to offer what is invariably a wide range of thoughts and opinions on what something might be worth, unless i am missing something most of the appraisals i have read have run the gamut in responses with obvious exceptions if the domain is super valuable or super worthless...i don't ever expect a appraisal here to be an objective guarantee, for me more about the ideas and opinions that are expressed...
so if they are indeed mostly hype and of little market value what is the big deal if we still want appraisals, there will just be a lot more lower valued appraisals given eh
i am sure a lot of great ideas and thoughts could still be shared about the value of registered .mes...
Assume reg fee on all registrations until further notice.
There you go, I just appraised them all.
If you want opinions and suggestions, just post in the .ME showcase thread that RJ linked to. There you can find many people who are excited to talk about .ME domains and their prospective future values.
RJ - Great idea also. I think there should be a policy like this for all new extension launches. So many people flood the forums asking for appraisals when no one has any clue of values.
