If they only give backup of the sites?

generally cPanel backup files are .tar.gz and they may contain full folder of your home directory which is acceptable file but if they just provide zip file of public folder and than let me know how big it is.. i may do that also.. let me know first is it cPanel or what.

Well I am in the proses of waiting my sites backup from the host. They really made me worry. Nearly a week a week and the response is so late. A week will cost a lot of effects towards my sites.

Sorry for short notice. If you may notice, last couple of days we were facing high server load due to node[disk problem actully] problem. So we are transferring our server to new node tonight.

Possible downtime is approx 15-20mins as said by technicians. Transfer will be start around 8PM CST. Check time zone difference at CST: Central Standard Time (USA & Canada) - What's the time in Central Time Zone now?.

You are advised to take backup of your website asap before transfer. There is no possibility of data loss but you are advised to take backup.

I suggested you to take backup its only for your safety. I am already taking backup offsite.

But for your saftey you can take backup. We already taking backup every second day. so we have 2 days old backup already.

If your forum goes resource heavy than i will suggest you to take a VPS. for small forum.. my packages is fine.
