Great point. Thank you for taking the extra step that I glossed over initially (checking out to see if it was just domains or active websites). The sites are just about clones. The wayback machine at archive.org doesn't show any website histories so you can't see what they looked like before. But alexa shows a decent number of links so the sites have been around.

Gambling related sites can sure bring in some nice cash flow (in countries where it is legal to have them ... unfortunately not here in the US). So the names (with their websites) might be a really good deal (for someone outside the US) when you look at it that way.

Wow, sport.us is an encouraging sale. I don't put much faith in single-bidder sales reflecting the market, since it is often an end user who really needs a particular name and may not know much or anything about domain name valuation. But to see sport.us go for $5,101 in a contested sale is a great sign, IMHO.

I would expect that the plural (sports.us) would be worth considerably more.
