I didn't know this thread existed! Well to date my only profitable .us sale was for bondsman dot us $120. This was last year sometime and it was sold in a private deal to the .com owner. Good thread, rep added to OP.

I think xboard.us was bought for traffic/pagerank purposes rather than the name itself. It apparently was an extremely popular technology forum (in Alexa's top 1,000 web sites list), but they moved to exbii.com for some reason and then apparently let the domain expire rather than redirecting it(!) I can't imagine why they would do that. Maybe there were nexus violations or something else to it. Anyone know the story?

Hmmm, tricky one - .us does'nt seem to get much lovin and the extension does'nt really suit the keyword IMO

Maybe the recent sale of Dubai.info might get a few people over-excited about it so who knows ?
