| If its a resurgent name trend, then people will be looking at it for deciding if they want to name their baby that. I think this is an example of a name switching from fairly obscure to suddenly popular. I doubt there are many US citizens of purchasing age or potential celebrity age with that name. Does provide an opportunity to "create a celebrity" by capitalizing on a current trend though.
Biblical aspects may be significant in that as well, as far as search terms, seems to currently dominate the first page of googles current results. Should have some options, with this name.
I think I've only actually known one person named Esther in my life, sufficient to keep me from ever naming my child that, but each to their own.
Trends appear to indicate its a euro-centric thing. |
