![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | any chance of getting updated domains showing on the home page? The same ones have been showing for about two years now . . . many of them no longer owned by the same people or parked at Bodis.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | There's a lot of things that can be done to increase revenue. Although, not a lot that could be done to increase traffic. Content will lower the CTR. We already had it once before. It was also a mess to keep up with and manage. Not many people want to bookmark and return to spam sites with automated content (or even unique content) with a focus on ads. We are really focused on traditional parking and monetizing traffic that already exists on the domain. That has the highest CTR and better end user value than mass generated spam sites. Many businesses that are currently focusing on mass generated content are failing. You are no longer relying on just a small amount of upstream providers for ads, but once you focus on content, you are also relying once more on the search engine traffic from only 2 companies. And now since Yahoo has been replaced with Bing, you are not going to get much more traffic on mass generated sites, as Yahoo was the life blood of mass generated content spamola, as their algorithm was spotty. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=484866 From what I hear and see, most domainers like mass generated content sites because of how they look. But I am here not for things to look great, but to make everyone the most money. ![]() Of course, I am always listening.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Never. Everything will just remain as Bodis. No more version numbers! ![]() But hopefully by the next update someone will like it enough to create the threads for me.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Today stats are delayed. Working on bringing it up to date as we speak. There is definitely no revenue loss whenever stats are delayed as the revenue statistics are collected and stored in a database table every 30 minutes. It's just the task that ports from one db to another stopped executing. Your revenue drop is different from anything else. You have mostly domains that are banned from our primary upstream provider, and revenue will only continue to shrink for the tier 2 domains that are not monetized with our primary upstream provider. Not just on Bodis, but across the board. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=484866 All parking companies use the same tier 2 providers. If you park only non-banned domains, I guarantee you revenue will not shrink.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hmmm, well judging by your account your visitors are down 30% yesterday. RPM is quite steady. For instance, there are 500 visitors per day that is missing from your phantom domain, which is not even parked at Bodis. If you move domains out then that'd be the reason why you have 30% less visitors, and therefore 30% less revenue. Also you should know that approx 30% of all your clicks are from banned domains. Not that it has anything directly to do with the other 30% we are discussing, but it's still a significant amount and tier 2 doesn't have a bright future.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I did see it. Just thought I'd get you on the last post. ![]() Seriously though, aside from the phantom domain which accounted for about 10%, it is your banned domain name revenue. If you want, I can set you up a second account so that you can segregate the banned and not banned up until we get a folder support. This way you can easily distinguish. eg 11/21 your banned domain revenue was let's say a 10 eg 11/22 your banned domain revenue was 5/10 eg 11/23 your banned domain revenue was 2.5/10 Before 11/21 it varied but usually wasn't ever as low as 11/23. We have a bunch of tier 2 providers for the banned domains. Sometimes the good ones either stop working due to tech issues, or stop syndicating for other reasons. Reasons beyond our control. We, like Parked, have recently also lost a tier 2 provider that monetized a lot of international. It's more like the tier 2 provider lost themselves. When it comes to tier 2, it is rarely ever our fault. But long story short, you can seperate the two and your life will be easier as you'll have more insight on what is going on with your domains. We never make a dime on our banned domains. Actually, we lose money every day and every month since the incarnation of Bodis (for the tier 2 banned domains). Mainly due to all this time that is put into managing it. I don't think any parking company makes a profit from it. At least not anything significant. |

![]() | Does Bodis has one page lander? I noticed that at parked.com I got higher RPM from chinese traffic compared to US traffic. The reason is that parked.com in US use a 2 page lander and parked.com in china used single page lander. So while I get paid only 1 cents per click from my Chinese traffic, I got a decent $3 rpm from those chinese traffic. The US traffic is only slightly higher. 7 cents with 2 cents CTR. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Malaysia: It is the domain names that get banned not the keywords. So you can literally use any keyword possible. And it is best to use the keywords that are the most specific to the domain. As far as showing what domains are banned, we don't have that yet - but it's an excellent idea and can be done. Teguh: Yes Bodis has 1-click landers. We have both and rotate each domain and use the one with highest RPM after a set number of visits or days. We usually do quite well on Chinese traffic, should be a lot better than Parked. Although, we cannot monetize Chinese adult traffic. That is where RPM is either low or $0, and we started to actively review and ban them from our network as Chinese adult is illegal in China and there is no legitimate provider that I am aware of that can monetize it. Hi Beowulf, can you pass me the domain name? I can look into it for you. Sometimes GAKT scores can translate into 0 visitors. You sould use the exact search when using the Google Keyword tool. If you had 300k global monthly for the exact term then you should get some visitors. Announcement: We are still waiting for PayPal to clear funds, and the expected clearing date is December 1st. Going forward there will likely be two changes: ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=484866 1. We will be sending out Checks (and check notifications) a week or two earlier as they take time to get delivered and clear by the bank so I think it is fair. 2. We will be including the expected payment date in the PayPal email notifications based on the PayPal expected funds clearing date. This way if we are a day late, early, or on time on payments you would know via the notification. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | To stub: Info on banned domains, am forwarding to my developer to add that to new Bodis which is expected to be live by end of year. In the meantime, I have added to our API. Currently, you can see if Bodis will use primary upstream provider for monetizing a domain, or a tier 2 provider. Currently, you can access here straight from your browser: Code: XML: https://api.bodis.com/domainclassifi...somedomain.com Javascript: https://api.bodis.com/domainclassifi...om&format=json Code: primary: Monetized by our primary advertisement provider (maximum revenue). secondary: Banned by our primary provider, and monetized by a secondary tier 2 provider. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=484866 One other idea I have is to give you guys a classification for Yahoo! as well as that is something I can do. Bodis can outperform over 90% of the domains that are banned on any Yahoo parking provider such as Parked or Skenzo. Steve: Are these pictures for adult? We have adult lander coming and regular landers with more photos as well. But will eventually remove photo management once the new templates arrive.
