| Bodis.com | As mentioned, those images are first draft versions that weren't even coded yet. The actuals don't even have that footer.

| NamePros Regular | Matt, you wrote that we will have full HTML control. Does this mean we can add our own visitor tracking code to the pages, e.g. StatCounter ? If not, how much visitor stats will we get in 2.0 - country of origin, keywords searched, etc ? Also how about being able to verify the pages via Google Webmaster? I am thinking the meta tag method might be possible, but not the HTML file upload method. Any of the above would be GREAT for optimizing the pages. |

| Bodis.com | Everything will be allowed except javascript, which I am still playing around with and figuring out if it even makes sense to not allow it. The problem is, we don't want people to install malware software on the visitor computer via our landing pages. That can get us in trouble. So we may disable javascript at first from the HTML, but later on I'll figure out a way to block off only the dangerous javascript such as ActiveX objects, etc. We also have certain terms such as: You can't put any contact information (since we already provide a marketplace). You are also only able to edit the HTML in the content area. So you won't have access to the HTML of the meta tag area. You can put your own tracking code - yes. |

| Senior Member | Layout looks decent... I actually like it, but don't like the custom text on the layout. I'd rather there be a buffed up "nicer" version of the current simple layout (with only links). Excited as hell to see what happens... going to take a nap and see what happens when I wakeup!! |

| Bodis.com | I've been working hard last 3 hours trying to port the automatic keyword system tool to production, but I've been running into a problem with the database connector on the production server. I am heading home to take a closer look at this. Once we get that fixed and the rest ported to production, things should be a little more interesting. I'll update everyone again in a few hours. It doesn't really matter for us if we launch at 3 am or 3 pm, as a matter of fact, I rather launch after midnight. So I'll see how fast I can get around to fixing the technical problem and how much more time I'll need after that. And I guess I'll hold off discussing some of our better features once we actually have the new website live. |

| NamePros Regular | I was averaging $2,000+ per mo. last year with Bodis. While I don't expect near the same results this time, I'll definitely be changing my nameservers back to bodis 2.0 tomorrow for another go with the improvements and 100% rev share (can't beat it!). I'm most excited about the html/video options as you can see from my signature. Matt, you're young as hell, but smart as sh!t. Excited to have you as a partner. -Mike

| NamePros Member | Well first of all congratulations to Matt for his work showing this very positive results, hope the best for you and your project, it's looking great. I would like to ask if we'll be able to receive the payments through PayPal. For some of us getting the checks is annoying since we travel and are 90% of the year outta home. Thanks in advance and best of luck Matt. Eth.

| Senior Member | Bodis shoots to the moon! For those of who supported Bodis thru thick and thin, you are a wonderful partner. For those who bitched like hell, you are transparent. Either way this is a new world.. the new monetization. The new Bodis. I have full confidence Bodis will shoot to the moon. Thank you so very much Matt, for working so damn hard and smart. Your base of loyal supporters will lay the ground work for much success. It was very wise to hang in there and not take folks money and pay everyone when problems happened at first. It was extemely wise to make plans and announce you are going to stick to those plans no matter what, to make the impovements you as a "in the trenches" domainer know are needed. To extend your hand as a business partner and offer 100% payouts to those who first supported your business was a coup not seen in the battle for domain profits. That my friend is pure genius. The owner of Bodis shows the domain community that hard work, great communication skills and dedication to improvement will have its reward. Bodis is moving to the next level.

| Bodis.com | Thanks for all the support everyone.
The other question answers: -Revenue updates still once per day. But we will make it more frequent one day - that is a promise I am making since I know I definitely want it in there. It is just not a priority for us right now. -1-click landers were going to be included, but were removed since we found 2-click landers to perform much better generally and have higher conversion rates. Although, some domains do perform better on 1-click, and we will also have that as an option down the road. It wouldn't be too hard to implement, but would not utilize all of our ad feeds since some are strictly for 2-click. -In the content we support an unlimited number of Images, Flash, Quicktime, Shockwave, Windows Media, or Real Media content via the rich text editor. And everything else if you know HTML. And like I said, I have not mentioned yet any of the big things that I think will completely change the domaining industry, but I will have that as soon as I start pushing this to production. Right now I am backed up since I am running across problem after problem when moving some of the backend to production. Last edited by cfguru360; 06-24-2008 at 12:21 AM. | ||||||||
