| What should I charge as an SEO Consultant
I have just been approached by a local law firm and they want to hire me as a consultant to manage their SEO. Its a friend of my boss and after telling them about the great success they have seen with me doing SEO this firm now wants me.
But I have no clue what to charge. It would be a per month deal. Any ideas?

| Humm depends on efforts you put, results that your client wants and the rate of your time that you are gonna put to get those results with your efforts.
Yet I have an answer:
"Get as low as possible without incurring losses" <<< If you are thinking to do it for long term in SEO industry.

| Charge a good base upfront and then a low monthly rate to fairly cover your efforts and time.
My wholesale advice is alongside Nick's. Don't charge $3,000 if you only put in 8 hours of work - meaning give yourself a good wage, but don't make it unproportional to the amount of work you do.
As far as creating an upfront price tag - estimate how many hours overall this project will take you, then add 15% on top of that to get your total hours worked (so you don't shortchange yourself) and then take your hours along with the knowledge of what work you have to do and create a fair hourly wage for your efforts and skillset.
Multiply that by total hours and create your base price. |
