Ya, has some potential to be an "in" thing. Especially with a special toolbar. Probably won't get past cult status, but the cool factor is high, so its possible. Tough to get it to go viral, but if you can create an internet subculture it could take off. Risky, but an entertaining idea.

This is also the sort of domain name that someone who might be interested in creating a somewhat exclusionary group on the internet might like as well, and might be willing to pay a decent price for. Hard to call. I agree that people chancing across the link would be highly inclined to click it, just to see whats on the other side.

*Edit: there are a lot of fontsets with interesting dingbats on them, not sure how many are fairly standard, but you might be able to put together a pretty good collection of them if you start digging through your fonts.
