Does anyone have experience adding an affiliate program to a forum? Are there any rules with programs with would prevent someone from doing this?

Adding banners on forum is done as we do it normally for any banner.

Creating threads for each and every product would take some coding though.

The different forum softwere plugins allow an ad revenue sharing or even refferral program to be implemented. BTW what are you attempting to gain with adding an affiliate program to the forum - advertising?

actually majority of affiliate programs such as cj.com, linkshare.com, revresponse.com encourages their members to promote links, graphics on a forum which the member owns because of high sign up and sales probability.

sign-profit.com approves forum which are of ecommerce in nature or something that buys and sells either via forum currency or real money, they approve it fast.

Are you asking about adding affiliate links to a forum YOU OWN
or posting links at other forums??? Big difference.

If it's your forum there is no problem. If you are spamming other peoples forums the forum can ban you. Some forums allow you to have affiliate links in your sig, you just can add a link to a post. Some don't even allow affiliate links in sigs. So you just have to read the rules. Each forum is unique.

I'm not to use the affiliate links post in any forum because it's violate the rule of many forums, and at the end if you do it, will ban.

nevertheless just have to read the rule before post in any forums.

Thanks for any opinions.
