okay do this, click on START then push R - in the search field type CMD then in dos type: PING yourdomain.com
it may be that you're service provider has not updated there system.. and you may be pointing to the old server - the ping will show you the IP adress you're computer reads... check that IP with the new server IP

Edit: Godaddy replied promptly to my second email. It appears that my FrontPage extensions were corrupted. I was advised to uninstall then reinstall them and this appears to have worked
