Minimum L-L-L.com values in 1 year

With the worst combo LLL.com going for around $7.5k now

Roll the clock forward 12 months, it is a safe bet remaining L-LL & LL-L.com will be nailed by then.

What do you predict will be the:

a) minimum snap bid for the worst L-L-L.com?
b) minimum reseller price for the worst L-L-L.com

c) minimum snap price for triple 'premium' L-L-L.com?
d) minimum reseller price for a triple 'premium' L-L-L.com?

just a bit of fun :sold:

l-l-l.com 05-15-2008 11:31 AM

a) minimum snap bid for the worst L-L-L.com?

$100

b) minimum reseller price for the worst L-L-L.com

$60 to 70

c) minimum snap price for triple 'premium' L-L-L.com?

$200

d) minimum reseller price for a triple 'premium' L-L-L.com?

$150

lets have fun then :sold:
in may 2009

a) minimum snap bid for the worst L-L-L.com?
high $xx

b) minimum reseller price for the worst L-L-L.com
low $xxx

c) minimum snap price for triple 'premium' L-L-L.com?
high $xx, they wont make any difference between worst and triple premium :)

d) minimum reseller price for a triple 'premium' L-L-L.com?
low $xxx - mid $xxx

i think prices will rise strongly when drops are close to zero, these days we are having a few drops already and prices havent increased so much though

L-L-L.com are domains to sit on and wait for more than one year
we have to wait 3-5 years to see their sales be strong; it is just a matter of time

I saw posted somewhere else today that min price for LLL.com is approaching 10k now.

and I've started seeing L-L-L-L.com words selling for mid $xxx, and a L-L.org sell for $2,300 at Sedo.

And there is more demand for LLL in non .com and in country code extensions.

So L-L-L.com are looking good for the future, especially words or meaningful acronyms.

In a year i could see the worst L-L-L.com at high xx or even $100 reseller.

'triple premium' L-L-L.com could be around $150 to $200 reseller.

Bluebecker.com 05-15-2008 12:30 PM

a) minimum snap bid for the worst L-L-L.com?

$90

b) minimum reseller price for the worst L-L-L.com

$65

c) minimum snap price for triple 'premium' L-L-L.com?

$185

d) minimum reseller price for a triple 'premium' L-L-L.com?

$165

one more thing i would like to add is

L-L-L words

minimum $700 to $1000 +

i'm not sure it's that high, and imo won't rise considerably for the worst or may stay stagnant, and thats a negative outlook...

but lets take that say 8k as a figure for the worst LLL.com

the worst L-L-L.com is not even getting $80! a mere 1% of the non dashed

how can that be? the worst are getting reseller 0.33% of the LLL.com

as I have long thought, the worst LLL.com are overpriced slightly and L-L-L.com are wildly underpriced.

Can I ask a quick question?

What do you consider premium?

I happen to own d-m-y.com ... at a glance it's a sh*tty domain, but means day-month-year

Where do you include these?

Not sure but i have r-o-v which is somethink i like and interests me, it all depends on
how much the buyer is willing to pay and how much the seller will sell for.

Tbh i rate all mine in the lpw xxxx range as they are waitng for endusers
these are enduser domains really

this thread is really for fun, but also to highlight how ridiculous the reseller bottom end is.
0.33% of a LLL.com or less cannot be right
:o

a good use for d-m-y.com would be a printable calendar site like http://www.eprintable.com/.
Talk about zero maintenance.

May 2009 prediction
a) minimum snap bid for the worst L-L-L.com: $12
b) minimum reseller price for the worst L-L-L.com: $10
c) minimum snap price for triple 'premium' L-L-L.com: $35
d) minimum reseller price for a triple 'premium' L-L-L.com: $35
e) end user triple 'premium' L-L-L.com: $1000+

The domain market has been booming since 2003, driven largely by internet traffic and ad spending growth. The traffic and ad outlook remains healthy, but PPC evolution is challenging easy monetization of domains. PPC uncertainty, combined with weakness in the broad global economy, and preceded by a relentless 5-year domain upmarket, make it hard to be bullish on any domain segment over the next 12 months. Expect to see some blue chip traffic names change hands this year at reduced multiples more in line with bond values. It's unlikely that domainer money will flow from traffic names to non-traffic names which have no underlying earning power. Money chasing predictable returns will flow into discounted traffic names while speculative money heads for the exits. Cash strapped end users are more tempted to hand reg hyphenated 2-word descriptive dot coms or non-hyphenated names with less popular extensions instead of paying a premium for an L-L-L. Impressive L-L-L.com end user sales will occur, but fewer speculators will have the risk tolerance to pickup drops or the patience to outlast multiple renewal cycles in the hope of a big payday. The gap between L-L-L.com end user and reseller/snap prices will widen.
