How do I monetize a city site?
 

I have a site that is a cities name.

How would I monetize that?

I hear travel affiliates do not pay well?

restaurant/fast food affiliates will do, if you're near the area, you can invite some local sponsors to sponsor a city,

search for the word "city" and you'll find about 10 results ranging from 75% to 50% commission (cpa/per sale)

Is the site receiving any significant traffic ? If so you will probably have an easier time selling advertising space to businesses located in the city. If not they may still be interested but having proof of existing traffic to show them would probably make the sale easier. Good luck!

The site is getting 288 uniques a month according to Sedo. I just started parking it in March.

The site is Londyn DOT com. It is Polish for London and there is a large amount of business between Poland and London from what I read.

I would like to pay a Polish web developer to develop it but I am not sure how to monetize it. I would like to find some Polish college kids to take pictures and write articles but I am not sure how to find such kids.

a good gateway or protal with that cities info, directories and search would be the easiest - you can start small and grow big...
