PR of dedicated IP and domain name
 

I need some info regarding dedicated IP and domain name. Dedicated IP of gainweb.org is 67.228.22.57 When I go to http://67.228.22.57 it is PR5, but gainweb.org is PR3 I checked it by chance today. What could be the reason?

Did you ever have any links pointing to the IP address? Doing a link search on Google brings up 300+ links, but in looking at a few they are pointing to the gainweb.org, did these links happen to change to the domain from the IP?

there is a difference between http://www.site.com and http://site.com and http://ip even if they are the same thing they can have different prs...the idea is to build all the incoming links to the same one.
