Good Phone for MOBI Development?
 

Hi, I need a new phone anyways, was wondering what a good one for MOBI development would be. Would like to give some simple dev a try but have never even used mobile web.

Don't want an iPhone or anything top of the line, I am more interested in something less expensive and more typical of an average user.

Ideally it would be wifi so I could use my home internet instead of an expensive plan from my phone provider. Not sure if that is just an iphone thing tho.

I did some search on this, apparently FIDO is the only company to be introducing this concept in Canada. I am unsure if there are others. The article, talks about the WIFI service that FIDO has just recently launched.

Interesting link thanks, that's actually much more advanced then I am looking for but it could be cool. Id just like a phone that can access my home wifi so I could test web sites on it. Dont really need special roaming features ect.

The Nokia they mention looks like it could be good for my uses even without their new wi-fi calling deal tho.
