Which site is the best place to sale domains? Sedo, Moniker or Afternic? Hi Currently I am only using Sedo for domain sale only sold two after 2 years. Want to try others. So Just want to ask which do you think is the best place to sell domains for a "FAIR" price? Sedo, Moniker or Afternic? |
I think it depends on the quality of the domain and extension. If you have a strong keyword domain then I would say Sedo would be your best bet. Otherwise a forum like Np would probably be a better option. |
So how about Afternic or Moinker/Snapnames? |
There is also TDNAM, it's only $5 to join, I have yet to make a sale there but have bought a few inexpensive names. GoDaddy also has a deal for a $1.99 domain with this which makes the join price negligible. Im also wondering if Afternic is worth joining. |
joined all of them the more the merrier. |
I also want to join them all, but haven't got time to manage so much accounts Weblord. I heard TDnam is the worst place to sell kind of like ebay. |
each has it's pros and cons as well. you don't need to spend a whole day with them just like minutes will do. |
I would have to agree with Weblord on this. The more exposure you give to your domains the better chance you have of creating a sale. Each does have its pros and cons, but as Weblord pointed out the little bit of time you spend on managing these sites could pay off in a nice way. |
I hated afternic honestly. I searched around for a good month trying to find the best site and afternic seemed like a good one for me. I got the plan where your domains are supposed to be advertised at like 12 different OTHER domain places. No. I never saw my domains anywhere else. I know I could have advertised them myself and prolly should have but I really thought the package I bought was going to bring a lot of eyes to my domains. Plus the guy that I got that was my consultant or whatever? Seemed so annoyed with me ALL the time. It was really uncomfortable for me. I felt like I couldnt ever ask a question with out getting dirty e-looks from him. Id go for moniker. Ive heard nothing but good things about them .. after the fact lol. |
WOW sorry to hear that happened at Afternic. I am glad you shared that experience. I have had similar experiences in the past with other companies on the net as well. Seems that many people simply think their job is nothing more then a job and that every customer is an annoyance. Shame since they are in a service business. |
Ya, you know its weird i get a lot of companies like that, the ones that make me feel like im being a pain in the arse because I ask a question! That is what customer service is partly for after all. And I did pay lol. its not like I was asking free questions lol. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. But when it happens over and over and over again you just know they really are .. a jerk! i hate to say that but.. its true. |
