My GF wanted to get a Cavalier but I badgered her into getting a Vibe and she never regretted it. We took loads of long trips and it offered plenty of room for my long legs and lots of luggage! I believe she's still driving it 4 years later!

I am tending towards the bmw, I currently have a 1994 525 which I bought for $1600 and has not given me any trouble in the past 3 years. But the Audi has all wheel drive! And a few more horses!

Nice one, so from your original budget, that leaves you $11500 to spend on domains? :hehe:

Tivo 05-09-2008 07:02 AM

Hell yeah. We actually came out WAY ahead of what we planned on. I will prolly get like a BMW or something like that for MY next car. This one was for my woman ;)

Just got a Honda civic 2,2 litre CDTi hatchback, 140BHP 6 ratio 0-60 8.6secs, but I am driving sensibly now, on it's second tank of fuel and averaging 48 miles per gallon. First tankful was about 45mpg so it's getting better. It will overtake anything.

does 70mph at 2000rpm in top, 80 at 2250rpm. it's quiet too.

Probably £7-8000 cheaper than comparable BMW

honda is quality and long lasting car
Less fuel consumption, never breaks down ;)

Bluebottle 05-09-2008 08:32 AM

imo, japan cars are must have
honda hybrid rocks. I think you should get something that would help reduce Co2 emission.
