| Largest .CA Sale Ever Reported Tops New DN Journal Weekly Chart The new weekly domain sales report is out at DNJournal.com. There was a blockbuster sale this week that ranks among the 10 biggest sales of the year. That was was the $600,000 sale of Jobs.ca - the largest sale ever report for a Canadian ccTLD domain. There was a lot of variety on the all extension lead board with the 13 .coms sharing space with five ccTLDs, a .net and a .mobi. That .mobi also led the Global Contenders chart, but .net had the most overall entries on the GC Top 20, taking 13 of the 20 positions. Germany's .de made the strongest showing on the Country Code Top 20 with 7 entries. You can get all of the details here: http://www.dnjournal.com/domainsales.htm

viitor.com $4,088
pilotlink.com $3,500
candlelady.com $3,188
collectweb.com $3,088
Photographes.com €7,000 = $10,867
SimiValley.com $90,000
Yeah right! This is precisely why I know all these sales report are industrly driven bogus to set prices and trends. Most those domains wouldn't even sell here for $20-200 This industry needs more credibility. Jobs.ca may be the only believable one.

They all seem reasonable (Mind you that some require a good deal of luck, like "candlelady" needing just the perfect customer.), although I would have accepted less for many of them, the buyers paying the money are the only ones that can tell us whether or not the price was worthwhile. SimiValley.com was undervalued, if anything.

| The actual value of a domain is determined by, "the maximum amount an end user is willing to pay for the domain".
So i think all the sales above are genuine.
