I like it. East to read under office lights.
May be a little bright for twilight viewing though.

I like the notepad theme and the colors. The only thing I don't like is the black margin on the left. It just makes the page feel off center.

looks like a blog but if you're promoting a "talk" forum something for people to "jot" their ideas then you got my attention.

some suggestion:
if you can duplicate or remove the "pencil" menu and let it become a vertical menu on the left side of the notepad or notebook? something inside the spiral that will be kewl or still horizontal but this time put the pencil menu on top and put a clip on it, something to hold the pencil
