Given that Fairfax has a population of about 22,000, there may be some merit in trying to sell this little beauty to Fairfax in Australia, a multi-billion-dollar publisher that owns The Age and Sydney Morning Herald newspapers, a stable of magazines and other publications, two leading Australian dot com websites, and which also has interests in TV stations?

TM issues there ^ tho

Fairfax county is on the top list as one of the wealthiest county in the US.

Fairfax City as a travel and local guide could be limited. The City have most of theirs government offices in that area. Fairfax City is just pretty much located in Main St.

Thank you. I have a $15K offer for FairfaxCity.com but I declined. I see more value when I continue to develop it. I have other neighboring cities e.g. Herndoncity.com, dullescity.com, etc. trying to develop a portal for each.

You should do it, especially ppc is dead for most part.

I received serious offer most of the time when you have a website. You can simply package a hosting, developing hours, consulting, email package, etc. to a good selling price. Most startup business prepare this way.

How do you get offers if the domain is developed?
How do they know that you would sell it?

You can simply put a domain forsale banner on any part of your website.

Fairfax is a county here in Virginia, just to let you know. And the service binded to this is local city. Well see, only time can tell.

Who really knows that LH.com will lost? No one 'till the decision where made. Another good story to share.

Fairfax us one of the richest county in the US. It ranked 1st last year and I think 4th this year.

I happen to live in Fairfax City and love the name. The real estate benefits alone make it worthwhile. Nice name. (Officially it is know as "The City of Fairfax" :) )

They may have TM for Fairfax Digital/Media but I really doubt they will have a case unless of course this domain will be use in the same target audience but FaifaxCity would be use as a city guide/info about Fairfax area.
