Scarlet TV
 

Hi all, I’ve been away from NP board for awhile – thought it time to catch up and participate. I’ve been all too busy with work/other projects/baby life/etc. and more importantly letting my TV portfolio mature (like fine wine :) ; although a few jars of vinegar thrown in to keep honest)

I still like the .TV fundamentals and trends – gradual increase in hits and clicks – as well as increased offers on names – and more technology on its way to unlock the user expectations of .TV

OK so what’s the post about – Scarlet TV? I have Scarlet.TV, just parked, and I noticed in the past week visitors jumping from 0-2/day to 50/day and growing each day. After some investigation I discover that there is a major new TV series debuting later this month produced by David Nutter Productions (Alias, Dark Angel, etc.)

The show is called Scarlet TV. The PR company has regged ScarletSeries.TV and ScarletSeries.com. The good news is that they are promoting and highlighting the .TV version. (I have nothing to do with the series – just an innocent bystander with the scarlet.tv domain.)

Perhaps not huge, but another stone thrown on the growing pile of traditional media/broadcast using .tv for their online presence. Go TV

Maybe there's an offer in the pipeline? :blink:

Scarlet is a new range of TV's from LG.

They look cool aswell, great news that LG chose to use .TV for this major advertising push.

looks like scarlet is the name to have! and lg using it! another major company choosing .tv- super!

Yes, good news indeed. And you gotta love how they pulled the wool over Hollywood with a Premiere party, etc. Check this out:

My clicks keep climbing - last week bouncing between 200 to 350 per day. All type in traffic, and making some PPC. Funny thing is that they never approached me - just went straight ahead and regged lgscarlet.tv and scarletseries.tv/.com. I think it may be worth a bit more now!? :]

Its completely different angle from my original reg intentions - that of a passionate romantic nature. When I checked last week LG had not trademarked "scarlet tv" (at least not in the US) Do you think there would be any issues using the name as TV selling website?

I would dev that if I were you. Make better money then parking.
