Looking for investors/partners for a new gaming company.
 

I have not decided on a name yet, that will be decided amongst those involved.

I am interested in creating a new gaming company dedicated to the development of free online games at first and as times goes on charge for certain things when we can legally do so.

Basically what I need is hosting and a domain, an interested business partner(s) or investor(s), and people skilled in the development of fun online games.

To be honest, things are not that easy. Work out a proper proposal, work out all the smaller details, like profit sharing, whether it will be a company, owned by one individual or a partnership etc. Where will it be registered. In what country/district will it be registered- so it will apply to the laws there. What will be required from each partner.

Gosh...I can think of at least a 100 more questions.

However the most important factor.

How will developing free games generate any income for you and others? People do not just give away their money so that someone can happily design free games.

If all you want to do at the start is create free games, your best bet is to actually look for a hardcore gamers/programmers forum where you can engage individuals in setting up a small team that design free games. Once some of your games have gotten recognition and some good stats, then approach a bigger games company with a proposal for a better game. The chances are you will get somewhere then.

In the beginning no one will sponsor you. And if it was that easy, then every person with a creative idea in this world would have a good sponsor and some income.

The world doesn't work that way.
