3rd Level .in domain names

I was wondering how much 3rd Level .in domain names like

.co.in, .net.in, .org.in, .gen.in, .firm.in, .ind.in

are worth.... ?

Usually between zero and reg fee, unless it is a trademark (in which case the domain can have negative value). Of those you mention, .co.in is the most valuable -- and gets reasonably strong use within India. Aftermarket sales are rare, so check the normal sites (dnsaleprice and namebio) for details on the best of the breed. There is a existent, though miniscule, market for LLL.co.in -- the domain basically need to have traffic or some other characteristic for it to have value.

Perfect keywords are always interesting of course -- in most any gtld or cctld.

I like them if they are solid keywords.
For instance, I own Lawyer.net.in, which ranks really well on google.co.in, msn.co.in.

I think they might help as keyword domains..

For development .net.in and .org.in are reasonable, as long as the keyword matches the extension.

Beyond that, reg fee, though a couple of mine make excellent parking revenue (mutualfunds net in / auction org in)

I'd stay completely away from .gen.in / .ind.in / .firm.in
