![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | 4me.asia I like computer.asia, easymail.asia and ivideos.asia, those are very pretty templates and designs. Did you do them yourself? ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/domain-name-discussion/448608-asia-domain-name-showcase-mention-asia.html You might want to contact a chinese billionaire if you can to get them hook on Dot Asia. Yes English is the prefered language to use for business and international usage. Don't go for local unless its .CN (everything else you are safe with English, at least it wont be replace any time soon). For india, they have like hundreds of languages but their national language is also English. Korean and Japan are moving in the same Direction. Hong Kong and Singapore uses English as main language also. Others are using English as main business language (in all Asias). English is prefered.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I don't think dot asia will rip like most people think. Its only been 2 years. They went from high 260K in 2009 down to 200K in 2010. Still sustaining at that level. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=448608 It would truly be rip if it goes to 100K level. But even at that level, the dotasia registry can still function and be alive. Domain space will only be limited as times goes by, and in the long run, they are the most valuable real estate one can find and own. HAVE Confident. I think one of its other problem is pricing. $19.99 compared to dot com of 9.99 at max. Its twice as dot com and higher than most out there for Top Level Generics. If they offer it like 5.99 I would think it will push levels higher and registration periods extended for few more years.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Have you heard? Dot Asia is finalizing its IDN processing (somewhat this month, march 2010) meaning very soon we will see floods of IDN domains from china, japan, korea, thai land, and every other countries that uses IDN currently. This will increase dot asia present significantly as the second continues. Not sure who has priority, (probably TM) so hopefully this time they do it right, instead of allocating all the good name to 1 company, they should make some kind of rule to allow only company name instead of everything good for TM and then we might see Pool registering sex and porn in IDN.... ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=448608 Anyway, the news is a heads up for Dot Asia investor. We will see a second wave of registration as big or even bigger than the first in 2008.

![]() | With lack of support from the CEO Edmund Chung (No .asia auctions from .asia forums and such promotions) who got his money and run with it, not to mention the reserved 2 and 3 letter extensions for government interest ?China?, I now understand why its spiraling to the bottom. With countless Googling about the topic of dot asia (web, blogs, groups), I let this extension RIP. Just my opinionated thoughts. |
