| I broke down, and bought two .ASIA domains. I may have over payed given I had to do it at EuroDNS with no coupons codes. TELEVISE.ASIA (I really like how this one sounds "televise asia") MAPPED.ASIA Thoughts? Any good, or are these the type of domains only good if developed. Here's some others that aren't registered yet that I thought were pretty decent... telecommuter.asia (job search related - this also may be one word) bluecollar.asia (job search related) ipservice.asia (internet provider service, but sounds backwards obviously) techresource.asia I also saw that hotel.asia was available through searches, and was like WTF?! I got all super excited, but then saw it was some government reserved domain. Same with electronic.asia, and one other one I can't quite remember off the top of my head.

What can i say, yes i am shocked, very shocked, but i think it bodes pretty well for .asia all round. There have been some shock sales so far of names i thought would not be more than regfee...so what do i know lol... Actually, one thing i did want to say was....i dont know if you guys have noticed, but .asia names have sold out very very fast. Was just having a browse the other day and so many keywords have been taken, crazy stuff that you would never have thought, i guess cos all the good ones were already taken lol, but my point is there is not much left after a fairly short period post go-live. This is in stark contrast to .tv and .mobi in which i still found strong keywords available to handreg a long time after the respective go-lives. The demand for .asia seems to be fanatical. It is probably domainers going nuts regging everything, but still, the demand is very high i think. If it is not just domainers creating the bubble and is in fact a lot of end users as well, then the extension has already proved more popular than the likes of .mobi, .eu and even .tv, which is only now starting to improve a bit. Just my 2c and all imho

| I need to stop looking at all these crazy ASIA domain sales. Made me go out and get another... must stop spending... $28.50 per domain!! It's so addicted searching for terms, seeing many other extensions taken, with .asia still available. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=448608 So I picked up eutopia.asia this morning. There were 20 other extensions taken with this word, which is my best hand reg in this regard. The other two I hand registered had 14 and 17 taken. So it's go two options - Eutopia.asia (single real word) or eUtopia.asia, hopefully it'll be worth more than that reg fee. I'm not planning to develop this one, as I'm already attempting development at mapped.asia  |

| it is far from being risky. as the domain was won in the auction, even if he couldn't sell it to gain profit the worst he could have sell it to the other party that lost at the auction with discounted price, so the risk maybe is only few hundred dollar. |

| You can, of course, have imagined the naysayers. "At least get a name that relates to the extension!" "I didn't know Las Vegas was in Asia!" "Who the heck is going to buy something like LasVegas.asia? Where's the demand???" Well... here's the guy (or girl), laughing all the way to the bank. I wonder how many people here are getting a $22K paycheck this month? How about after 2-3 months? |

lasvegas at the same time means Luxury CASINO in asia, having lasvegas.asia is the same like having casino.asia or might be stronger key word then casino it self cause of the luxury ....
