Help removing some code from a Wordpress theme

I am doing this locally so I cannot point you to my install.

At the bottom here I have Flickr Roll and I want to remove it but when I take out this code in footer.php I lose the black colour.

Code:

<?php if(function_exists("get_flickrrss")) : ?>
<?php get_flickrrss(); ?>
<?php else : ?>

<img src="<?php bloginfo('stylesheet_directory');?>/images/flick-sample.gif" alt="flick" border="0" />

<img src="<?php bloginfo('stylesheet_directory');?>/images/flick-sample.gif" alt="flick" border="0" />

<img src="<?php bloginfo('stylesheet_directory');?>/images/flick-sample.gif" alt="flick" border="0" />

<img src="<?php bloginfo('stylesheet_directory');?>/images/flick-sample.gif" alt="flick" border="0" />

<img src="<?php bloginfo('stylesheet_directory');?>/images/flick-sample.gif" alt="flick" border="0" />

<img src="<?php bloginfo('stylesheet_directory');?>/images/flick-sample.gif" alt="flick" border="0" />

<img src="<?php bloginfo('stylesheet_directory');?>/images/flick-sample.gif" alt="flick" border="0" />

<img src="<?php bloginfo('stylesheet_directory');?>/images/flick-sample.gif" alt="flick" border="0" />

<img src="<?php bloginfo('stylesheet_directory');?>/images/flick-sample.gif" alt="flick" border="0" />

<img src="<?php bloginfo('stylesheet_directory');?>/images/flick-sample.gif" alt="flick" border="0" />

i think you're going to have to play with the get_flickr function or if you're lucky just the stylesheet. look into the stylesheet_directory and see if anything comes up. worse comes to worse you can put a black rectangle over the "flickr roll" part.
