Left or Right Navigation Bar

Hi there!

I'm just running a poll to see whether most people prefer to browse sites with a left-hand-side navigational bar, or a right-hand-side bar (like NamePros)?

Thanks,

Dan

N-grace is an unknown quantity at this point
I suppose people who are right handed prefer left navigation bars and vice versa.

monaco is on a distinguished road
I've always done it according to the text direction...if your locale reads left-to-right, put it on the left, if it's right-to-left (for say, Arabic or Hebrew) put the navigation on the right side.

My idea on it is that the navigation should be the first thing the user sees. I despise sites that are hard to navigate.

Naturally, navigation should be aligned at the top left on the page and visible with no effort from the user to scroll to see it.
