VPN account
I need to know if using a VPN account better than a VPN itself. What advantages does it give?
I plan to use it from HqHost.net and before it want to know everything about that.

It depends on your needs IMO. HqHost.net provides only a VPN account, right?

You can run it as yourself with your web hosting provider. Need to have at least VPS server. Maybe they offer ready VPN account?
Ask them about enqryption.

So far, I've liked VPSland.com, but that's just for a Windows VPS. The prices are reasonable, and the specs are reasonable for the price.

I think a VPN account is better than a VPN itself because if you have a VPN account the data you transmitting is highly secure and there will not be a chance for hack. The data transmission will be in encrypted form. It act as a tunnel over the internet.


Another important advatage of a VPN account is the accessibility of it. If you need anonymous and secure internet access it is the better option. I have not been seen any disadvantage about VPN account. It also making the facility to access blocked or censored site like adult content site yootube..etc.... Even thought the service provider you selected is a good one, I don't have any direct experience with them...

Man o man. I feel like a 5 year old kid on the block. That is with 5+ years of IT experience. I had no idea that there is a vpn account and then there is vpn itself and both of them could be used as a vpn.

Same here . Have no idea what's VPN itself.
