| how bad is this
i have a script on my forums that will create a new thread from rss news websites
that means it creates new topics with news content of major news websites from rss
like Reuters
this will create me lots of topics of 3 line news healines + a link
this means more pages in google but is it a good idea to keep such script
will it have any negative impact on my site ?

its only 2 lines duplicated in a whole page will it effect that much ? | |

| search engines don't want to list thousands of pages that all have the same thing written on it.
you should generally keep your duplicate content to a minimum, and i'd say that anything over 50% is bad.

20 keywords after each other that are the same as another site and the rest of the page contains keywords which are not like other site
will it decrease my page rank ?
in what way will it effect my site ? | |

| if those 20 keywords represent less than 50% of the crawlable content on the page you should be fine. but if the content on the forum page is the duplicate feed and your forum template, and those combined make up over 50% because no one posts anything, then you should try harder on getting original content.
pagerank is based on links, which is only indirectly related to content.
lots of duplicate content makes for a less useful site (usually).

| i am keeping this just to gain few more hits from current visitors + loads of search engines pages
people loved the section no way it can be useless it just keeps them uptodate of the latest news from all sites all in one
but search engine wise will it effect it negativity in way | |

If i create a page or random keywords found on my site at the buttom of my site
will this benefit me in anyway in my case wont this increase the unique content percentage ??? | |
