My New Design Site...

The first problem I see is that I don't know what the site is for.

Since something can't be both new and improved, I'll let you decide. The new Afterburn Design Labs site is up, featuring this brand new, fully automated news machine! The most important parts of the site are still missing (portfolio, photography) but don't let that stop you from hiring us.

This tells me that you have a website and you wouldn't mind if someone hired you. Hire you for what? Your 'About' page doesn't help either, it explains what a business does and that you like money.

As for the design, it looks nice but it's completely unusable. It's slow, confusing and I still don't know what I'm here for.

Also, don't use images for text, try to break up the site a bit by replacing image-text with true text. At the moment it's unbearably slow on my cable connection.

I wouldn't take a second look at this site if I weren't critiquing it.

Sorry for being harsh, it looks nice but you need to re-think it.

btw, Keep the same navigation on every page. No one wants to keep going 'back' just to get somewhere else.
