I have all of my NNNNN.com domains parked at Parked.com. Today I log in to check my stats from yesterday and I discover that 57230.com had two clicks yesterday for $3.83 per click. I usually have a good number of clicks on my NNNNN domains, but this one made me want to do a bit more research. I started to do a little research on the domain and found out that 57230.info is registered.
It appears that 57230 is a CEDEX number (postal code) for France. They also use a five digit format. 57230.info is a Proxiti site that is a network of 6,000 sites for France. It looks like to me that this is just like the Marchex .com and .net sites for US Zip codes.
Just another example of the demand for number domains.
nice clicks!
Some of my NNNNN's also get high clicks in parked, I've seen a couple clicks between $1 and $2. But in total around $10 in last 2 weeks. I'm planning to test them somewhere else next
Update from my previous post. I have all my NNNNN.com domains at parked.com. I use either the default page or I use the keyword "domain registration". There is not a huge amount of revenue, but it is improving. Once I get a click on one of these names Parked has the ability to see what keyword was searched and clicked. The domain I mentioned a few days ago that had the $3.83 click was a visitor from Japan. I researched the keyword which was in japanese and it was hair replacement. I update the keyword on this domain and today I had 11 clicks for a total of $38.04.
While this domain is the exception, I am optimistic that I will continue to be able to better monetize my generic number domains. I know that namedrive.com also has the ability to monetize international traffic and learn what keywords your visitors are searching for. If anyone needs a referral for parked just send me a PM.
Wow, great report! That's some valuable hair replacement there, I wonder what the connection is with your number, maybe a product number or a phone number for a hair replacement company or something.
Any idea what's the bare minimum wholesale value of a NNNNN.com?
Also, suppose it has all premium numbers what would be the value?
I'd really like to know the answers to these questions.
PS: I looked at the DomainMagnate price guide but found nothing useful
I have a new post up which analyzes the development of 100 random NNNN.com's and compares the level of development with the NNNNN.com's. I also discuss the potential ramifications this has on future prices of NNNNN.com's.
I regged it with my dreamhost account and each year I get free renewal with the hosting so it has not cost me anything so far.
0845 is for a non geographical annually charged phone code which provides local call charges nationwide to callers in the UK. Typing 20845 into google shows some 0845 sponsored links.
my domain is indexed on page 1 of a google search for '20845' although there is no website there, perhaps I should develop one.
Does anyone have an idea of value undeveloped? or parking/development ideas.
