Thanks a lot. It seems prices are still on the rise over at 4.cn, at least for names without 4.

yes, IMHO this segment is the biggest surprise of all in the last 2 years. they move from low $3xx in the end of 2009 to mid $7xx the end of last year. This is a rise of 100%...

any NNNN.com without the "bad" 4 is reaching on average $1100

, in 2009 you could get a "premium" NNNN.com for $6xx

Completely agreed. NNNN.com's increased in value as it was expected from LLLL.com's, which are rather stagnating.

NNNN.com was going to increase eventually, there are only 9999 of them and there's a hell of a lot of people who want them.

48.com went on auction at 4.cn on 12/23/11 and reached a price of ¥1,480,000 ($222,000).

33.com sold for $358k in May of 2011.

There were a couple of other sales for around $100k in 2011.

That's a big number. Actually people were telling me recently that NN and NNN domains are on the up and up. And all these people that told me were from Asia.

It is really big out there.

I registered some binary numbers that when converted equal lucky Chinese numbers...maybe someone will buy them and have as much fun as I had thinking them up. Domaining is a lot of fun!!!!!!!! (That is 8 exclamation points for luck)
