IThq.com

Wish I had it. But the again, I only got into this 7 weeks ago.

Doc

But have two in the online Paris auction at 175k and 235k.

Maybe by the time I have 14 weeks in, I will be getting the hang of it.

The thing is that these psychological blind spots tend to continue and betting against them can be frustrating.

For those just starting:
Premium letters: ABCDEFGHILMNOPRST
Semi-Premium Letters: JKUVWY
Anti-Premium Letters: QXZ
CVCV = Consonant - Vowel - Consonant - Vowel

VCVC = Vowel - Consonant - Vowel - Consonant
LLLL = Four letters, no numbers or hyphens
.com = You really are just starting, eh?
Thanks for the info. Good to know

I think that Q is great if it comes in the form: LLHQ.com
You can usually find over 100 great 2-letter acronyms for the LL part, and HQ is "headquarters".

For example:

FEHQ.com
Fuel Economy HQ, Field Engineering HQ, etc. etc.

ASHQ.com
application server HQ, applied science HQ, American Sports HQ, etc. etc.

FHHQ.com
Family History HQ, Field Hockey HQ, etc.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=432747

NNHQ.com
National News HQ, Nevada Nursing HQ, Neural Network HQ, etc.

LPHQ.com
LP (as in vinyl records) HQ, Liquid Propoane HQ (sell appliances), etc.

BiHQ.com
(bisexual headquarters)

NRHQ.com
National Republican HQ, Nevada Rocketry HQ, Name Redirection HQ, etc.

I would like your feedback:
What should the prices be for LLHQ.com names like these? Should it approach that of a three-letter name?

Hi, I was bored so I compiled a list of German words starting with less premium letters (J, K, Q, U, V, W and Z). Thank God very few speaks Hungarian language, so we have to learn many other languages. I think it's an advantage in the domaining world

Please don't be too harsh if you find a mistake

J:

Ja (Yes)
Jahr (Year)
Job (Job)
Jugend (Young)

K:

????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=432747
Kampagne (Campaign)
Kandidat (Candidate)
Kapazität (Capacity)
Kapital (Capital, Fund)
Kasse (Credit Institution, Savings Bank in different expressions)
Kaufen (to Buy)
Kind(er) (Child(ren))
Klein (Small)
Klima (climate)
Kommerziell (Commercial)
Kommunikation (Communication)
Kompensation (Compensation)
Konkurrenz (Competitor)
Konkurs (Bankruptcy)
Konsument (Consumer)
Konto (Account)
Kosten (Costs)
Kraft (Power)
Kranke (Sick people)
Kredit (Credit)
Krise (Crisis)
Kunde (Client)
Kupon (Coupon)
Kurs (Rate, e.g. of a stock or currency)

It can be clearly seen that the English words starting with 'C' have a German pair starting with 'K'. Therefore K is one of the strongest premium letters in Germany. There is no genuine German words with a first letter of C, but many English words are used every day, like Computer, Cash, Consulting etc.

Q:

Qualifikation (Qualification)
Qualität (Quality)
Quelle (Source)
Quote (Quota)

U:

Umfrage (Survey)
Umsatz (Turnover)
Umwelt (Environment)
Und (And)
Unfall (Accident)
Universal (General)
Unterlieferant (Subcontractor)
Unternehmen (Enterprise, Company)
Unternehmer (Entrepreneur)
Urlaub (Holiday)

It's worth mentioning, that English prefixes like un- and under exist in German as well (un- and unter-).

V:

Valuta (Currency)
Verbraucher (Consumer)
Verdienst (Salary, Remuneration)
Verkaufen (to Sell)
Verkehr (Traffic, Transport)
Verlust (Loss)
Vermögen (Wealth)
Versand (Transport)
Versicherung (Insurance)
Vertrag (Contract)
Volk (People, Nation)
Voll (Full)

Vor- and Ver are very frequently used prefixes. (V is mostly pronounced like F)

W:

Wachstum (Growth)
Währung (Currency)
Ware (Product, Goods, Article, Merchandise)
Weihnacht (Christmas)
Weiter- (Forward-)
Welt (World)
Werbe- (Advertising-)
Werbung (Advertising)
Wert (Value)
Wertpapier (securities, stock)
Wieder (Re-)
Wirtschaft (Economy)
Woche (Weak)
Wohnung (Home, Apartment)

Z:

Zahlen (to Pay)
Zeit (Time)
Zentral (Central)
Zinsen (Interest)
Zoll (Custom, Duty)
Zone (Zone)
Zusammen (Together)

I hope the list will be useful for someone
Feel free to recommend new words or correct mistakes.

Also , it could be helpful if your LLLL starts with an USA state abbreviation, There are 50 US states so it opens up the possiblities for higher end user sales or more options for possible end users to sell to!

Another awesome thread which gives me more ideas as to how to go forward with the development of tawn.com although it is a world network ... now to get it going before the world implodes (explodes? does a somersault) around us.
