AJY(.)COM $4,900.00 on eBay.

Last minute action lifting price from 3,900 (reserve not met) to 4,900 (reserve met).

Congrats toilet monster

PS: didn't knew that it was possible to place a proxy bid without it being automatic lifted to the reserve price (or close) on eBay.

tonecas

It might take a few months, but in 2011 we should start seeing minimum prices above $5k again. In the meantime, hold your LLL.coms for end-users.

People have been making these suggestions for a couple of years now, LLL.com is just about to do well......buy folks, buy buy buy!

The truth is it is this market that could go either way...or nowhere.

Every market works this way, if you don't believe in it, dont buy.. Just put your money in an old sock below your bed.

Agree, you can pick any time frame to suit you needs, like the one above. Even then from the depths of the financial crisis most areas have done better, eg the stock market is up 50%.

My argument isn't that the LLL.com market has done badly over time, my argument is that it has done badly over the last couple of years and is under performing other areas, and in my view there is no real sign of a change in sentiment. Even though at the very worst point they were $3000 min and are now $3900, that is still down 49% from where the market was ($7600). How many areas can you think of which are still 50% down from the peak?
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=429599

People should make based on the here an now, not glory day predictions of ever increasing markets when today's reality is not the same.

It is the reality of the situation, as opposed to those who tell people this market will only rise. To use your own analogy you are basically defending someone who is claiming it will never rain again.

People should make predictions based on the here and now, not RECESSIONARY days; predictions of ever decreasing markets when today's reality is not the same.

Can you see Snoop its easy to use your own arguments to be optimistic or to use them to be pessimistic. Every recovery depends on confidence and optimism and I am on that side of the fence. Keep sitting on it.

I'm not predicting ever decreasing markets. I'm saying the future isn't known for these names. They could rise, they could fall, they could stay around where they are now. For those who think they will rise/can only rise, they are kidding themselves.

You are stating the obvious of course they could rise, they could fall and none is kidding themselves that they will rise/can only rise, we just had a recession.

You are making banal statements of no value. Just an opportunity to give someone a dig because they said in 2011 we should start seeing minimum prices above $5k again. At least he is making a prediction - sticking his neck out rather than sitting on the fence.

This is comment I replied to. Obviously that person is kidding themselves. It is more of the pump that we've heard over the last two years.

I don't see how it is a good thing to be making predictions based on nothing other than hope.

Speculative investments, where price is disconnected from fundamental utility/earnings, will remain out of favor as long as global wealth destruction continues. Look for real signs of business friendly tax policy, rising private sector employment, real estate market strength and sovereign debt crisis recovery before domain prices rise. There is no $X alternative for big ticket items such as buildings, vehicles, machine tools, etc. but abcxa.com is a functional DNS substitute for abc.com.
