![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | You're aware that private sales occur on NJ, aren't you? Domains that are with NetSol/eNom can be placed in "expired" mode by the registrar, in this case NetSol.

????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/short-domain-discussion/429599-lll-com-sales-report-discussion-thread.html after it had been renewed for 5 years the WHOIS reverted back to the "Pending Renewal or Deletion" account of NetSol and enter on auction without any buzz on NameJet. if it is a private sale (by the way, they are illegal in the fact that they receive a fake bid to be ranked up on the lists and are bundled together with truly expired domains making all this a deception. but we are too busy trying to get domains and easily closing our eyes to this) then: 1) the seller is being scammed because the domains enter on auction out of the blue, with only a few bidders. 2) why other domains from private sellers are not listed on a "expired" account, only these and after being renewed for 5 years? if they are expired then why are they renewed for more 5 years? and why do they not get more time to be listed on NameJet like other truly expired domains? and if they were unlawfully renewed by someone then NetSol has a big problem with its respectability as it seems very prone to domain hijacks. maybe there is a simple explanation to this. but I believe that when someone is clean and plays fairly its business practices are transparent and not prone to so many dubious actions. regards, tonecas

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | It's not that complicated. Owner renewed the domain and put it on a NJ auction. Yes, there can be private auctions on NJ. There is no consistency, if you're asking that question from a domain bidder's perspective.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Which part exactly? You seem to be upset because the domain wasn't tagged as "truly expired". Yes, domains sold by private sellers can be bundled with domains that are actually expired, that's at the discretion of NameJet. The WHOIS data can be changed to display "Pending renewal or deletion". NJ is in joint venture with NetSol.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Tonecas, I don't think you're following the concept of select individuals selling domains on NJ too closely. The domain was auctioned by its former owners on NJ, after they renewed it for several years, it was not expired and it has a new owner. End of story. Network Solutions works with NJ and puts domains in expired mode when they are on auction at NJ. So when you perform a WHOIS you see "Pending renewal or deletion". It's an artificial expired mode.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | acro, i really do not understand your issue... maybe the mistake is mine. if it is, sorry for that. there is no artificial expired mode. there are expirations (the pending delete account), private sales and fishy actions. these was a fishy action. NS sometimes uses the same expired account for holding REALLY expired domains that they think have value but in a different way. regards, tonecas

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Sorry man I really appreciate your reports on sales and those on stolen domains. But how can I explain this in more detail?Example. Let's say I own Domain.com and I belong to the select few that are allowed to sell the domain on NameJet. Suppose that the domain is with Network Solutions, perhaps with eNom (not sure about the latter). ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=429599 When NameJet rolls the domain into its list, DomainTools will show that it's "expired - buy it here" (or something along these lines). The link will take you to the bidding page at NameJet. At the same time, the WHOIS info is changed by NetSol. They change the info to look like this below:

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | acro, I will concede that NetSol does set the whois info of a NON expired domain and accepted for auction on NameJet that way. I *rarely* see a domain registered on NS being sold on NameJet as a *private sale* auction but will accept that thesis. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=429599 in that case, how do you explain that the domains are put on auction without being listed on NJ for a few days? do you see this as the current work method on NJ? I only got to the auction because I backorder it before... me and about a few dozen other guys... this is what I have been trying to explain. this is fishy no matter how you look at it. and *I know* that NJ is fishy also. so, it is very easy to conclude that there is something going wrong here. like I said before, if you want to be clean you act clean. regards, tonecas

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I can only say there is nothing 'fishy' - domains get listed with the purpose to be sold. If you're suggesting that NJ has alternate methods of auctioning domains other than in public, I'd say, perhaps.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | these guys are so funny... naq.com is again on auction, 5 hours to go! hurry up! it's just hilarious... naq.com, Lost, Private, Pre-Release, $4,400, 2/22/2012 the auction essentially lived on a bidding war between two known domainers, so no lack of payment and no cancel indication on the auction's report. regards, tonecas
