Official NNNNN.com Countdown Thread I'm going to start this off. I just bought over 1,000 NNNNN.com's today, all were German postal codes. I am hoping to hold these as a long term investment and possibly develop or sell them down the road. I also have a portfolio of other NNNNN.com's that I am already making money on cash parking with. As it stands, there are less than 19,000 NNNNN.com's left, out of only 100,000 total (far less than the 450,000+ LLLL.com's which have already sold out). So most of the NNNNN.com's are gone, and all the 1NNNN.com's are gone and over 90% of the 2NNNN.com's are already gone. The NNNNN.com's are the next category of domain real estate on the net to go. Why buy an NNNNN.com? A number of reasons: 1) You will get cash parking revenue even on totally random numbers. I have had very good cash parking success with my NNNNN.com's so far, some even consistently bring in large amounts >$2-5/day, and I haven't even figured out yet why so many people are typing in these numbers so I can set appropriate keywords to make even more. 2) Lucky numbers, very big in many cultures including China, where lucky number domains have been bought for $$$. 3) Numbers make words when spelled on cell phones, and this market has just started to take off (466453.com brings you to GOOGLE.COM): 4) Lots of foreign countries have 5 digit postal codes and this is a potential source for type-in traffic as well as development of related content, 5) US zip code NNNNN.com's are very valuable and the postal service keeps adding new ones, so a number that it not very important today could be a large zip code tomorrow. 6) A number is easy to remember and completely brandable, quite possibly more so than some of those bizarre LLLL.com's which are going for so much, 7) Numbers mean things, finances, product numbers, birthdays, prices, and so much more, 8) There is a very limited total supply of NNNNN.com domains, and the vast majority are already gone, so it is just a matter of time before they are all taken. All the NNNN.com domains are gone and are now valuable, don't miss out on NNNNN.com's! Where to start with numeric domains? Huge database of foreign postal codes, many NNNNN's available here Phone Spell tool (type in a number and see what words it spells on a phone) here Numbers in Chinese culture here Guide to Numeric Domains here Another good tool is google's adwords keywords tool, see the search volume for NNNNN's and whether advertisers are paying for them, here Please post other resources for people hunting for NNNNN.com's. Since this is a countdown thread, I better give some numbers. As of this morning, there were 19,346 NNNNN.com's available based on a scan of all NNNNN.com's (100,000 total). I have registered 1,032 since then. So to my knowledge there are 18,314 available now. |
Bold move! Good luck with them. Keep us informed of any successes you have with them. |
when was the NNNN.com buyout happened ? did LLLL.com buyout raise price of NNNN.com ? what is the current value of NNNN.com? I am asking these because NNNNN.com prices take the price from NNNN.com , if you see NNN.com more expensive than LLL.com ,every body registering brandable 5 letter I think they must concenterate on this issue because there is a countdown |
What I have seen is that NNNN.com's go for about $100-$5,000. I think they have a higher floor than the LLLL.com's (I think the floor for these is around $50-$60) but a lower ceiling generally, if that makes any sense. A higher floor because they are much rarer than the LLLL.com's (10,000 v. 450,000) and basically any number is useful whereas XQPZ isn't going to be that useful probably. At the same time, there's probably a lower ceiling because premium number domains like 5555.com still aren't going to be as valuable as CARS.com. Do people generally agree with this assessment? |
you bought 1000 but it is too early if you will not buy over 10000 NNNNN.com ,you bought germany postcodes germany has got 80 million population and they also use .eu and .de , your selling is limited , in My opinion you must search repeating numbers there are a lot of with triple 4 number but 4 is bad number according to 3 character.com , how many years do you keep your NNNNN.com collection ? |
Agreed, I don't expect the German postcodes to be as valuable as zip codes obviously, but I wanted to buy a large number of NNNNN.com's and these were a good portfolio to get because they are high search terms, have good type in traffic, and can be developed with targeted content. Germans, like people all over the world, also use .com's frequently, many of the top German websites are .com's. Basically, a number is a number and I think numbers are just going to increase in value, especially in the .com's, so that was the main motivation for the large purchase. I still may get a lot more (probably not 10,000) but other large purchases. I am planning to hold these for several years, but I do think all the NNNNN.com's might be gone within the year, given that people are starting to realize the value of these and have seen what has happened with the LLLL.com values whereas NNNNN.com's are much rarer and more versatile in my opinion. |
you get easily approved by the parking companies but it is hard to add url them to google it takes to many time and boring , at the moment which parking company do you use for your 1000 NNNNN.com ? |

That was quick! All those NNNNN.com's with repeating characters in 1st, 4th, and 5th position are now gone it seems. Congratulations to those who bought them!! Here is a list of available NNNNN.com's (as of the time of posting) with repeating characters in 2nd, 3rd, and 5th position. 03353.COM 72252.COM 47767.COM 71131.COM 46606.COM 42282.COM 46676.COM 84454.COM 06636.COM 41131.COM 47757.COM 64414.COM 34424.COM 42272.COM 75525.COM 73343.COM 43373.COM 34404.COM 42292.COM 45585.COM 52262.COM 47787.COM 43363.COM 72262.COM 61141.COM 36646.COM 37747.COM 05575.COM 74484.COM 47717.COM 45535.COM 09929.COM 84474.COM 74414.COM 59949.COM 04484.COM 53373.COM 74404.COM 45565.COM 43353.COM 62212.COM 05545.COM 72292.COM 05535.COM 43383.COM 31101.COM 27747.COM 61181.COM 41161.COM 82292.COM 06646.COM 46636.COM Enjoy |
Ok, it looks like all of the NNNNN.com's with repeating numbers in the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th position are now gone. Here is another domain that spells a word on a phone: 54787.COM Spells "LISTS" And here are available NNNNN.com domains (as of the time of posting) with repeating characters in the 2nd, 4th, and 5th positions. 01311.COM 03433.COM 04844.COM 27477.COM 32022.COM 34844.COM 42622.COM 42922.COM 47377.COM 52822.COM 54044.COM 74144.COM |
Thank you for running these lists. I started last night running specific sequences and had picked up the 125 and 124 repeaters. I also picked up a lot of the sequences that you listed today. The more I run sequences using a spreadsheet and then running reports to see which combinations are available the more obvious it becomes that the best options are very scarce. I picked up 250 NNNNN domains over the past 24 hours. Looks like many of them have some decent traffic. I'll post my traffic numbers in a few days after I get a better sense of the levels. I do not expect these to be money makers, but it would not take much of a conversion to cover a good portion of the registration fees. |
I was suprised to find that 6863742.com was there ..... spells numeric.com numeric domains are cool |
NXXNX.com's Congrats to the purchasers of the items on the previous lists, these are going quicker than expected. Here is the only available XYXYN.com that I could find: 35354.COM And here are the available (at the time of posting) YNXXY.com's, i.e. each has two pairs of repeating numbers. 43774.COM 64556.COM 31443.COM 42774.COM 37223.COM 45774.COM 08440.COM 53445.COM 05220.COM 41664.COM 36223.COM 64006.COM 42114.COM 47554.COM 74667.COM 48664.COM 70997.COM 61446.COM 29772.COM 78447.COM 32553.COM 42994.COM 54225.COM 43664.COM 45994.COM 09770.COM 34553.COM 02440.COM 56445.COM 01660.COM 70337.COM 06220.COM 04990.COM 42554.COM 30443.COM 37443.COM 36443.COM 29552.COM 38443.COM 91449.COM 50445.COM 98449.COM 34883.COM 54995.COM 70557.COM 49334.COM 54885.COM 48774.COM 40664.COM 42884.COM 60226.COM 34663.COM 42004.COM 49554.COM 74997.COM 40774.COM 41334.COM 41994.COM Good luck! |

Thanks for those epasaport, thanks for the post! I may have missed a few NNNNN.com's with 3-repeating characters, I am running bulk random searches not doing it methodically. But I don't think I've missed too many more (if any), though, because I have done a LOT of the random searches. Here are some available (at the time of posting) XNXYY.com's 02077.COM 05022.COM 05044.COM 09044.COM Good luck! |

Does anyone have any recent sale price stats on NNNNN that are active US zip codes? Just curious ... |
Don't have actual stats Just have read in various places that a good zip code will go for $x,xxx. There aren't very many sales because Marchex owns almost all of them. A zip code in a smaller population area is probably worth several hundred dollars. |
More good news for numerics Google news just announced a new feature where you type in your zip code and get local news content. This will likely make people more used to typing in zip codes to get information, and if applied to google in other countries as well, would be very good for holders of foreign postal code domain numbers. The uses of numerics are just beginning to be explored. |
I just got 69428.com. It spells "my hat". It's not much, but it's something. |
Could be lots of other things, like "My ICU" or "Ow, ICU!" for medical assistance. :) Numerics are great. |
There are many numbers available but not sure if it is worth any number. Besides of Zip code based on what you are choosing them? |
