Speaking from experience, do not depend on GoDaddy office of the president for help against scammers; although their TOS allow them to help, they consistently side with scammers by taking no action, particularly Alon Waisman.

I've got domains up the Wazoo...wanna buy some?
NAMEPROS PHISHING attack. Do not follow the link. It is not a namepros link. They want to stealyour account, so that they change the password and then buy some domains with stolen paypal using your identity. BEWARE everybody.
Matter already reported to staff. And everybody, I can't understand why you complain in a thread like this instead of reporting it to staff immediately.
SO I JUST WANT TO SAY 2 LITTLE THINGS TO THIS B@STARD:
1) I WON`T FORGIVE YOU , I WON`T REPORT YOU TO AUTHORITIES , I CAN`T WRITE WHAT I`LL DO.
2) I`LL CHASE YOU WHEREVER YOU ARE, MEXICO OR AFRICA I DON`T MIND, I`LL KEEP CHASING YOU TILL I`LL DO WHAT I NEED TO DO AND YOU WILL HAVE THE RIGHT TO PRAY.
I think the Namepros staff and the Mods should now take a stand and protect us from this!!!!!!
They should now stop all new member registrations on Namepros untill there system here is clean of scammers all what is happening is you report Asys he then just pops along and creates another account.
And a member on NP will click the link and will pass over there info and another NP is cheated.
If they stop new members from joining any scammers on Namepros will be filtered out and banned.
Also banning there IP address

The scary thing about this is they steal bonafide members details. Along with this comes the members reputation. If the member has a good rep the more likely you are to do business with them. Then the more likely you are going to get scammed before the fraud comes to light. Once this happens to you you won't trust anyone again....believe me it just happened to me yesterday on DP!
if you followed the link and entered your login info on the bogus page, then better go to your profile page here on NP and change your password ASAP ...
should be fine then, I don't think there's any cookie-snatching compromise they can do ...
Might be appropriate counter-measure to spam the spammer ... that is - visit their bogus login page and enter some bogus login info ... if enough people do this, then they'll have mostly garbage for their harvest. Maybe best to do it through a proxy service though, just to be on the safe side with regard to revealing your IP address. Extra-paranoid folks might want to first log out of NP to clear all cookies - but that's being gratuitous just for the sake of it - good security habit though.
If somehow Lorenzo, you will find out that these phishing scammers are from Eastern Europe, count me in whatever your plans are.
Stopping new member registrations is not a good idea, this is not the purpose of NP, the most open domain discussion forum. I think the staff is competent here, and will find a solution by which they will trace these scammers, and won't let them in to steal reputable members history.
Now you understand people why I use MB for payment? Even if I get a PM from a reputable member as Lorenzo is, I may not be 100% sure that it is him PM'ing me. By using a safe payment gateway, and refusing dealing with companies that protect scammers I am pretty well assured that I won't get scammed.
(Now I know Lorenzo is Lorenzo, I gave his example, because we know that he is indeed ItalianDragon and not smb else).
I might have an idea on how to avoid being scammed. But first I would like to ask: what happens when the buyer initiates a chargeback but the seller's paypal and bank account has NO funds for the chargeback?
PayPal balance goes negative and PayPal will come after you till you pay.
Thanks for the trust but I disagree, I could have my PayPal account cracked as well (because this is cracking not hacking if we need to use the correct terms).
I am not using PayPal anymore till all this is sorted out. (which probably will never happen with PayPal) so if anyone claims to be me: just send back an email address to the email in the whois asking if it`s me really......double check always , never trust anyone.
Okay here's the idea: Guys n gals tell me what you think.
1) Create a new premier paypal account. Do not add a credit card no. This account will become your middle-man account.
2) When receiving payment from buyers get them to send money to that middle-man account.
3) Do not push the domain to the buyer yet, do the following: send the money in your middle-man account to YOUR REAL ACCOUNT.
4) Push the domain to the buyer. If he or she initiates a chargeback. There is no money to chargeback from!! All the funds have been sent to your REAL account!!
5) I dunno if paypal will actually withdraw the funds you sent to your real account back to your middle-man account. If that happens then this method probably won't work.
I dunno much about paypal policy and stuff so I dunno if it will work. Please comment on this idea!
That`s WHY PayPal frooze all my accounts back last August when I was trying to protect me against another new buyer.
I had to fax my IDs to paypal + Bills and wasted so much time to release my money that they simply told that it`s not allowed to have more than 1 account for person and when I told them that they should do something about protection for non tangible items.......did they listen ?
Do you get it or not? People get divorced when things do not work but you people seem don`t want to leave PayPal?
