She paid me once, took away the payment. I called her out. She then had her "partner" pay me. Now, that payment has been reversed.
The first PayPal email address used for payment was:kellywillhite@comcast.net / kellywillhite The second PayPal email address used was:mstearns84@hotmail.com / mstearns84 The Scammers contact email and the name I transfered the names to is:bobwilkok@gmail.com / bobwilkok
Wow, this is starting to get really ridiculous. Is PayPal that incredibly bad that they don't freeze accounts which have "X" amount of charge backs in a certain time period? Or even just 1 charge back atleast until they verify the REAL owner of the account is the one processing these charge backs.
Domain sales is becoming incredibly popular, PayPal really needs to get up to date with these type of sales. It's really pathetic that they already haven't.

Lol, thats understandable for you to say. As considering everything that has been going on, I will only be using Escrow for any type of domain sale.
But you also can't argue with these people for being pissed, this is also understandable. PayPal really needs to get on top of things..
What if it's a $50 domain name sale? $50 is $50.. I don't wanna be scammed out of it nor do I want to pay $25 to Escrow.com for a $50 transaction. What do you do then? Heck... I feel ripped off paying Escrow $25 for a $100 transaction. I guess it's better than loosing a domain name but it still feels like the lesser of two evils, IMO.
This is my first time being scammed after completing alot of successful domain name sales, I even dealt with a reputable board member, searched everything out did all I thought I could. This crap can happen to anyone using PayPal, I am deffinetly seeking other funding sources unless we have had previous dealings or I am familiar with you as a member.
I STILL WANT MY NAMES BACK YOU SCAMMER!!!! -- They have already been indexed by Google as being stolen.
it seems TRs, time you have been a member in a forum dont count regarding LLLL
they are so valuable people is destroying all their reputation to steal them... and what will hapeen to them?
with names indexed as stolen at google as GreenGambler made with yours (and i hope others have done the same thing), they will lose the best thing they had; their reputation
good luck and keep us updating, you that unfortunately had your names stolen
i really hope you all get them back
PayPal does not care because if they did they immediately would have fixed this, there also scammers the other way around....too long to explain but I have heard other stories of people given a different domain......so for PayPal to get on top of things they should get specialised in domains.....and till this industry won`t be as popular as others , the best thing to do is using Moniker Escrow.
If you want to trade $50 domains then you take the risks because there is nothing in the world that will give you back the domains , PayPal won`t absolutely do anything. It`s nothing new.
IE is even better with it's WhiteList/BlackList. And YES, I use all the browsers at times, including Safari,FF, and Opera. IE does have better control.
The problem is the "mass" does not use MoneyBookers. The Mass uses paypal and there is NO REASON why paypal can not offer the same thing MB is offering! Send them feedback. It will only take a couple seconds and you can help making a difference!
I sent PP feedback regarding my account limitations from July 2007 till now, and they still keep sending me their automatic emails regarding the steps to remove my account limitation.
I do not believe they read their emails sincerely. You can read my story in the above thread.
But, you are right, for some reason people use Paypal. Weird.
Interesting.."Sheriff" bought a domain from me about 2 months back on DP forum..and payment was never held/reversed..at the same time that name sold for like $30 bucks...
i think the reason is eaby...
if so, theres an explanation as ebay is very popular; here in brazil it isnt easy to withdraw money from paypal but many people work with internet have paypal
I am furious, I just got scammed out of 21 LLLL.com Godaddy domains last night on DP. The users name was ASH. Check the profile here, its flawless. Here is the info that was provided for change of registrant:
Maybe someone should contact the "Media" about all the scamming PAYPAL allows. err, I mean all
the paypal chargebacks....There must be literally
hundreds of chargebacks as of late....and what
no red flags to paypal? They can see the transaction
history, how many chargebacks are people allowed to make?
If this happened at your bank, you can bet it'll be all over the news!
I just contacted my lawyer. He is a corporate domain attorney and deals mostly with TM issues but I am hoping he can help. I also asked about a class action suit. I will keep everyone posted.
