I was going to say no there is no way to run this cancer project on Linux but some of my cohorts at the UD Bulletin Board are trying very hard to prove me wrong.

is there anyway i can disable the screen saver of ud from running? cos' the screen saver lags my com...

I will come back on this question but I think you can just shut it of in Windows? Or configure an other (less lags) saver? If this does not work please let me know and I will look into your problem.

I believe you can do that from control panel / display / click "none" for screen saver.

Also you could click the "Blue Pill" in your tray. click the check mark [preferences} and uncheck "run only as a screensaver"

The high performance crowd realized a while ago that the screensaver graphics would use resources that otherwise be working on the project.

The science for this project was directed by Keith Davies while he was an honorary research fellow at the University. Keith is a founding Director of Treweren Consultants and Find-a-Drug. The Find-a-Drug cancer project is a reflection on Keith's personal motivations and interest in continuing the work begun with United Devices developing therapies for a disease which affects one in four individuals."

That is usually a problem with your connection to the internet. Are you able to connect to any other websites at all, with that computer? {obviously you are connecting with this one}
Sometimes your anti-virus / Firewall will deny a connection. Is that a possibility?
Occasionally UD will have updates or maintenance which will make them unavailable, but usually they are announced ahead of time, or noted on their Bulletin Board / Forum.
I have been away from Keyboard all weekend so I would not have noticed anything myself.
Are you still having this problem.
