ZoharBlur - Looks modern and nice. Not quite what I need for a logo but may not make a bad t-shirt or hat print.

umxca - Very nice...I wonder if the Dallas Cowboys would give me trouble with trademark infringement. Heh. Anyway, star and skyline alone the text would stand well on it's on. Definitely a strong entry.

LatE - It still doesn't quite have that logo feel for me. I do like the design. I still like your second one too (So did my girlfriend).

As an aside, I am not at all opposed to doing some side business with some people in this thread after the contest is over. In the past I have purchased work from people that didn't win my contests just because I thought I could use their work for other things. So for those that are putting in the effort and creating something that I deem useful your efforts might not be in vain.

Okay, last day of the contest. it wraps in a few hours. I don't have too much to comment on right now...seeing some good entries and not much time for revisions and whatnot. I will be bringing them to work tomorrow and letting everyone cast their votes. So far I have a favorite but I need more opinions before making a decision. So far my girlfriend doesn't agree with my favorite choice. lol

Ok...here is my try. I hope I'm not to late!!!!

If you want the colors changed, that is NOT A PROBLEM. I didn't spend too much time on them because I wanted to get my entry in on time!

I've submitted two variations...please leave feedback!!!

They were designed at a very large size, and they are vector, so you should have no trouble resizing them!

Okay, had some last minute revisions and a late entry but I have chosen a winner. Asking friends and co-workers to cast votes was a flop since nobody seemed to agree. So in the end I had to choose. The person whose design I chose was Pamela. Ultimately I felt it was the most versatile.

As for everyone else...I have been staring at your logos for days and honestly there are several I really like. I will be PMing a few of you to see if you'd be interested in selling your work to me for other uses.
