Anyone worked out what the best payout rates of the two?

Who pays more commissions Google or Yahoo?

To many factors to play in affect. I am sure someone has spent some time to create such a report. You are referring to the Publisher side of it right?

I have heard Yahoo pay more, but have no hard facts.

Yahoo used to pay best, actually i don't know if they still do.

google has image ads, I think the image can convert better. Yahoo I think still pays better but google converts better. So currently I like google better.

This is how I have heard it too

You usually wont find that with tier one publishers/advertisers. You can go into the advertiser side of the sites and try to play around with the high paying key words and figure out that way but to much complication. There is a site I can't think off of the top of my head which has a database of high paying keywords. If I can find it again I will let you know, but it does not say which site it is coming from.

Yahoo pays more because it's a less popular system and they work with US based citizens only. Google pays very little because they have people all over the world with crappy sites which get crap traffic and click on the ads.

If you're based in US, it's better to use Yahoo!.

Yahoo is less popular? Are you saying Yahoo Publisher Network is not as popular.. cause Overture as we know it is very popular :)

Indeed. Sorry for the miss-understanding.

YPN (Yahoo Publishers Network) pays the greatest. Although I've never tried YPN, I will sign up for it if I ever get my Adsense account banned.

Well What I heard was YPN used to pay better but not anymore. Some of my friends who used it moved back to AdSense. You can signup for YPN only if you are a US citizen and even thats not enough, you need US traffic or they terminate your account. So I prefer AdSense.

Why is YPN only in usa >:-/
