keywords - noob question

I have a quick noob question.

I don't entirely understand the whole keyword thing.
Like some keywords pay better then other keywords.

How do you know what keywords you are being payed for?
Is it the meta keywords you place in your html?

also, what is niche?

Thanks

125box is an unknown quantity at this point
Yes some keywords pay a lot more than others.
Finance terms will be higher than hobby terms for example:
'credit debt' will be higher than 'button collection'

niche is a small category that has much less users than major ones.

like 'football' is a main category and 'women's touch football' would be a niche.

Make you website's content related to the keyword you want. That's all.

best to create a foundation first instead of just creating a high paying keywords site. Create a site you have some knowledge about hence unique content
