That simply shows that the term wi3.org is contained on certain pages on the net. To check if a site is being indexed you should try the site: command but that is not fool proof. If I remember correctly Google hide some stuff from this command now.
Yes Peter I know I am referring to the first listing that is been shown which is from the URL wi3.org
In fact I am seeing one entry even if I use site command but as I saw the page from the site itself I didn't bothered to use the site command to see if pages were indexed from this site or not.
In a site search I get no results at all. In the search for the string I do not get any results for that domain only other sites that mention it (such as this thread). In fact the result that is in the place of the wi3.org forum for me is connexions.rediff.com (with the namepros link showing 2nd)
and i'm optimising it a bit i've changed that testing link to webstats. i've checked over all places. like .com, .co.in, .uk etc and even in yahoo now it is being indexed
may be putting signature link helps in the process.
But it is still quite not understandable why it took so long to index, i've never experience such a delay in index of any site, rather google does indexing even if you don't submit url.
Good news to hear that vinod. Actually sometimes there it takes a times to get index. Now your problem solve already. Hope you will get better page rank later.
It may be due to yout sites TLD (.org)... or I may be wrong. But it is a bit strange though. We have a site that we havent launched yet before, no backlinks to any site, and it got indexed. It was a .com by the way
