Hi bampa, omnia and digitalfog, we have been experiencing intermittent technical issues with the Fab interface. These problems should now be resolved. If you are still having problems, please let me know.

In regards to the slow loading time for our landers, it seems to be an Internet wide problem. A lot of other parking providers are also experiencing the same problem. If you search the forums you will see similar posts regarding other parking companies.

I can assure you that our tech guys are still working to alleviate these problems.

Cheers,

Mike

Hi svfox, providing a "Target Keyword" is beneficial, especially in situations where the upstream provider is serving un-related ads.

Cheers,

I'm starting to think that maybe Fabulous underestimated themselves when they chose their name. At the moment they are beyond Fabulous for me.

Fabulous service

Hi Mike,

I am new to the forum but have been dealing with Fabulous since September 07. I can only agree with a lot of the other posts that your company offers a great service! I deal with Everett and have found him to be polite and prompt to deal with.

2 quick questions please.

Are you aware of any delay problems with new domain submissions being accepted?

I noticed my uniques and impressions took a large drop over the last week. Any ideas why?

regards,

catchany

I understand Fab is strong with gambling names. Is that true, and have they been able to maintain the rpc and recent downturn other parking companies have experienced? Also, do they accept extensions such as .cn and .in and pay for clicks on those? TIA

No they don't accept .cn as I recently found this out. The others not sure about.

They don't accept .in either. Go back 2 pages and read post #183 where Mike Fabulous explains what extensions they accept.

Charley, at this stage, accounts with little or no activity do not get deactivated.

DomainGamer, in the last week(s) we have been experiencing technical issues, which has resulted in our landing pages loading slowly.

This seems to be a problem that a lot of other Parking Programs are also experiencing. If you browse the various forums, customers are also seeing the same thing with other providers.

I can assure you that our Tech team are working around the clock to try and alleviate and fully resolve this problem.

Hi catchany, it's possible the delay in accepting new domains was due to the Easter break, when all Account Reps were out of the office. If you are still waiting on domains to be set up, please contact your Account Rep or support@fabulous.com

The drop in uniques may be a result of what I mentioned in the above post. Also, we have noticed that some accounts (including our own) have been affected by a Google update, resulting in a lose of SE traffic.

As I'm sure you can appreciate, this is not something we have any control over. I guess that's the nature of SE traffic, it's good while it's there, but it's something you cannot rely on.

Whilst we are known best for our strong Gambling prices (which have remained fairly high), we do very well across the board. Typically, 2-3 generic/commercial keyword phrase domains perform best with us.

For example, domains like, BookSellers.com, AirlineTickets.com and CookingGames.com will perform well on our Fab+ program, however, domains like abcd1234.com and xyz864.com are best monetized with other programs.

Let me know if there are any other questions.

Hi Charley, I believe it depends what type of PayPal account you have, whether you are charged a fee or not. If you have a Business/Merchant account, I believe PayPal automatically charge you a fee.

It's probably best to check with PayPal what account type you have and see whether they charge fees or not.

In answering your question though, we do not charge a fee to use PayPal.

Cheers,

Mike

I know that Poker domains will perform better with Fabulous. Does anyone have geo-targeted domains parked with Fabulous? How do they perform? Any insights on this will be highly appreciated.

I had some; they did well for a while, but they eventually fell out of Google. Haven't had a click on them in quite a while.
