Hi,
What type of websites generally do well in Adsense?
I have directories and blogs at the moment, and I'm looking for something to add to my portfolio

I think blogs are the best earners, there are a lot of bloggers that get paid a lot from Google .

Everything depends on the content , i think money blogs, seo blogs , webmaster blogs earn a lot monthly .

Off-course, any website/blog can earn a lot from adsense , there is no limit, it only depends on your audience and traffic that you get to your site .

Try and develop something you know alot about,
Also for adsense, stay away from webmaster/seo websites as most webmasters do not click on your ads
Based on adsense,
If you have 10,000 Webmasters visiting your site or if you have 10,000 non webmasters visiting it's the "non webmasters" that will make you the money (IMHO!)
And i can honestly say directories (general) have to be the worst possible niche for adsense, unlesss you can develop a niche directory relying on targetted traffic.

I work in construction, i have 8 or 9 sites related and over 400 names related also,
Works well for me
I have fun working on them so it's a no brainer,
I've tried spyware/seo/directories but none have come close to what i can do now i know what it is i'm familiar with
Start of small then grow as you become more intrested.
