You sure about the translation? Very low SERP for a country name in Chinese.

Not so sure about your choice of kanji. Perhaps you meant 越南?

Agree with Jed K, the term should be 越南.

Your term does translate to Vietnam in a way, but really means 'east creek' as in 东溪小学 (east creek elementary school) or something related to brooks, creeks, or maybe even small rivers. Not really familiar with the term, but I can understand the confusion.
