It means they were not backordered, so snap picks them up anyway and sells them under a public auction with cheaper starting bids, like $9 or $20 starting bids usually for .net

Do a search for for LLLL.nets but "uncheck" available soon and check "in auction" then click on "min bid" to see all the LLLL's starting at $9 - nice to group this way, you can also group by auction ending date and alpha.

The minimum bid for 4L.nets appears to be $9.
On the other hand, the competition on Snap is surely heating up, it's ahrd to find any "decent" domain for below $20.

So expired dot nets first go thru the "available soon" auctions where bids currently start at $59. If they get no bids they go into the "in auction" auction where bids start at $9. Is that right?

To get into an auction for an expired name you have to backorder that name before it expires and goes into auction. Once it's in auction, you can't get in on it unless you previously basckordered it. However, the "in auction" auctions you can join anytime whether or not you backordered the domain. Have I got that right?

Why not just call these the "expired name" auction and the "public" auction like they do at TDNAM? Why can you join an expired name auction without backordering at TDNAM but not at Snap (and Pool, and Namejet)? And what about the names placed by sellers at Snap? Those are in the "in auction" (i.e. "public") auction?

I must spend 15 minutes a day on average trying to comprehend the ins and outs of these freaking auction sites. Just doesn't seem like it has to be so complicated.

Yes, TEWT is not a quad premium but it is pronounceable and it´s a word used by the army that means "tactical exercise without troops".
